When did they start randomly choosing who the home team is? I thought the host was always the home team as long as they were in the winners bracket

It’s about how many times each team has been the home team so far. If both teams have been the home team, it’s a coin toss. It’s the same way in the SECT. In this game, Liberty was the road team in their first game and Tenn the home team, so Liberty would be the home team this game
