Gates of the Arctic should be number 1 since it’s still untouched by man. Seriously, has anyone been there?

Isle Royale in Michigan is nice but
it’s pretty isolated. The whole upper
peninsula is nice for about 4 months a year.

Glacier is great, but I hate to tell you the road doesn’t really go to the sun.

I've been to at least 15. I'd like to go to all of them someday.

Good luck getting a reservation at any of the great lodges in Glacier. Maybe the high cost of inflation will keep a few people away. Ordinary you need to make a reservation at least a year in advance

I'm staying at the Lodge at Whitefish as I have a conference there. Yeah, the concierge mentioned it was better to book a tour than try to get a driving reservation. I also was told to book a boat trip, and you could automatically get in on the day.

I’m going to Glacier for first time this summer. Any suggestions?

Consider hiking the Iceberg Lake Trail. One of my favorite hikes.

Yellowstone is nice but overrated compared to other national parks.

It feels like an outdoor themed amusement park full of annoying tour groups.

Alone Across Alaska documentary is really good... Pretty sure he crosses GotA. Sleeping with an electric fence around his tent...
