Are you comparing a coaches first season with guys he didn’t recruit to a coach in year 5 with a roster full of only guys he recruited?

He's about 10x a better coach tha Avery though. We won tonight but He has outcoached Bruce in both games this season.

Yeah but he got talent. Bama has 5 or 6 guys that were ~top 100 recruits and a couple that were fringe 5*s.

We've signed classes like that for 25 years. Sexton was his signature signing, but everybody else was pretty par for the course.
He was a solid recruiter (ratings wise at least), but he wasn't much different than Gottfried or Grant.

Cuz they got tired of going 8-10 in the conference.
Thankfully, Mr. Oats has led them to the dominating record of 5-6 (and an overall record of 13-11)
Should be simple to do better than Avery!
