Yea that was painful to watch, and was exactly what all of us feared this season would be with Avery.

Definitely get it

Trent Johnson and Jones did some serious, serious damage to LSU basketball

Wait you wouldn’t give Oates credit for recruiting a player who lit it up this year?

Yea I vividly remember Wade snagging Waters after his precious school fell through (UConn maybe?). That was a helluva job by Wade.

I was responding to people acting like LSU didn't have talent Wade's first year. He did, regardless of who recruited them.

Sure Wade gets credit for recruiting Waters. Not saying Wade isn't good I am saying you can't judge a CBB coach on their first year record, the premise of this thread is stupid.

I’m just saying Wade had zero talent other than what he himself brought in. Mays was not good at that point. Duop fricking Reath was probably our second best player

Alabama has some talent but they definitely didn't progress any from HS to where they were when Avery got fired, They probably got worse.

What Alabama doesn't have is depth and we have had a ton of injuries.

When we were healthy we beat Auburn by 19 at home and Miss St by 21. We are about to be healthy again, we will be fine. A lot of season left.

I think we’re pretty much in agreement

Just wanted to set the record straight re: Wade’s first year/Jones last year
