Yeah, but gumps pegged him as the second coming. He is better than Pearl they said. UA basketball is a graveyard. If Oats has any success he will bolt for a better job.

Allen Green, the AD at AU, was the Assistant AD at Buffalo and was involved in the hiring of Oats. When the updykes hired him, and all of the unwashed masses were saying "who" Green was doing an inerview and said that the updykes didn't realize it yet but they just hired a helluva' basketball coach. He has got them playing a style that is hard to handle and you don't want to draw them in the SEC tourney this year

So if Alabama's a basketball graveyard, what does that make Auburn?

Man, you Auburn fans can't even get your own conspiracy theories and trash talk straight, can you?

Bama's skyhooking-Keds wearing high top white guys were better than AU skyhooking-Keds wearing high top white guys.

AU basketball has been historically shyte before the sweat hog, and it'll be shyte after the sweat hog.

I didn’t start the thread. LSU has won like 6 games in Coleman in my lifetime.

Really?
Since 1970 (when Alabama's 1st African-American played), Alabama holds a 72-38 advantage in basketball! Hell, our winning % is a helluva lot better since Wendell Hudson took the floor!

Edit: In fact, Auburn led the series (27-25) at that time.

And LSU lost to him. And it wasn't even close.

LSU scored a bunch when the game was already over. It was really a beat down.

Did I do it right?

I think Nate is a good coach. He is just going to need to get his players and strip down the culture that Avery had with that program.

A lot of good hires this past offseason in the SEC for basketball.

I couldn't agree more!
I believe the SEC will be a real bear in a couple of years...a lot of great conference basketball soon.
