Some of this is delusion in your part but I’ll say this Auburn will not be a soft team under him.

I just want an offense this year, and at least half the defense we had last year

I don’t understand why people place any value on press conferences. Golesh is a great coach but y’all aren’t winning 10 games this year. It wouldn’t be that big of a shock if no one wins 10 games this year in the SEC

Missouri won't be playing Auburn this season. That is how bad Mizzou is right now.

Now that is what I call unbridled optimism! However it could also be labeled irrational optimism.

A 10-2 season would likely put you in the playoffs. That's a pretty big jump from the mediocrity and worse that you've endured.

That crappy Auburn team last year only lost 1 game by more than 7 points. And that was to UGA for 10 points. Every game was competitive even though we sucked complete arse last year and was led by Hugh F'ing Freeze.

The conference really ain't that great I guess.

On a scale of attractiveness for coaches he's a 5, let's hope the right haircut and a little makeup can get him to at least a 7.

From his speech, it sounds like he has a four year plan in place. Not expecting a first year miracle run.

Our defense will be good I think. It was good last year. Kept us in every game.

I hate to be optimistic these days as an Auburn fan. But if Brown can play anywhere close to the level of Cam, Auburn could be pretty good.

That's asking a whole lot though.

Golesh kind of gives me Butch Jones vibes. I can’t figure out if he’s genuine or playing a part of someone he thinks he’s supposed to be.

I’m not so sure “trending for” is an accurate description.

Sitting just outside the top 10 already having 25 commits is not a favorable position if the teams ranked around Auburn have not filled there class.

It is if you’ve sucked for half a decade. How to an elephant…pun intended.

That crappy Auburn team last year had more raw talent on the roster than this year’s team.

That's understandable. Hiring Hugh was a public relations disaster for your Athletic Department for a time. Cohen hired a firm to clean up the image and push faith & family to the fanbase so they could choke down the fact that he was the face of AU football.
