No, it is definitely one of the most gutless LSU has ever fielded. Back in the 2-9 days. You were stuck with who you recruited and sometimes you just weren’t very talented. This is one of the most expensive rosters in the country. This is worse.

I sat through 2-9…this team is less fun to watch than that team. I feel for Delane and Haulcy. The rest are absolutely worthless.

At this point, they are hurting the chances of hiring a decent coaching staff as well. Worthless.

What becomes of the coaching search if Frank Wilson leads LSU to victory in that remaining games, which would include wins at Bama and Oklahoma? As the former head coach at UTSA with a ton of history with LSU and the undoubted love of the players, you’re going to be hard pressed to push him aside.

The question is, if he were to pull that off, would the fan base melt or embrace him were he named HC?
