The crazy thing about Kentucky universities is that tiny little Berea college, home to 1,600 students, has an endowment of over a billion dollars.

Some of the small liberal arts schools in VA are like this too. I know Washington & Lee (fewer than 2k undergrads) has almost $1.5b despite having an obscenely high tuition

Yeah, 945 million with an enrollment of a little over 2,200. More than a lot of SEC schools with tens of thousands and students and a frick ton more alumni.

They have a gorgeous campus though.

Also, Berea doesn't charge a penny for tuition, room and board or meals. Total free ride for anyone lucky enough to be selected by the school. Every student must work for the college while attending, however. The school is big on teaching life skills as well as academics.

Arkansas - 1 billion

FIFY. 534 million is, um, slightly less than the billion you claim in the OP. You hogs really should donate more to your permanent endowment for the Fayetteville campus.

I'd love to see Endowment vs number of alumni. As far as Current Students go aTm has 50K to Vanderbilt's 12K.

Kind of an unfair comparison since it doesn't scale directly to the number of students. A&M doesn't need 5x the resources to service 5x the number of students are equal quality.

Some small private schools do much better with their endowment better than half the SEC

Aggies are in their own league.
Good for Vandy.
LSU beats alabama at something.

Not really. OP has false info and is trolling. Mix of system and non-system endowments in the OP.

Here is some perspective on just how rich we are. Feel free to downvote once your feelings get hurt. The combined endowment of Florida, Mizzou, Kentucky, Tennessee, Georgia, Arkansas, LSU, Alabama, South Carolina, Auburn, Ole Miss, & Ms State is about the equivalent of A&M's.

You would think you would be tops in everything, but in reality you are tops in nothing, not even academics. Just because you are sitting on a pot of oil, does not reflect on your wisdom or skill, just your luck. The fact that you've not taken advantage of your luck, does reflect on your wisdom and skill.

OK...
Aggies are still in a league by themselves.
SEC sucks compared to their money.
Yes, even alabama sucks compared to their money.

And that’s why the OP is stupid. He could have still trolled Alabama with its actual endowment. Or just list main campus endowments for everyone.

He couldn't have trolled anyone at all if he had used Arkansas' true endowment.
