Seems like I read somewhere several colleges average about a 2%
ROI...pretty pass poor with what the market's doing.

The purpose of an endowment is not to maximize ROI, more about wealth preservation. And they usually have pretty stringent rules about what they can be invested in.

Reminder that Ole Miss' # includes their medical school in Jackson, just like their enrollment figures do.

Disregarding that, wouldn't State's be higher?

I don’t think they’re the only one doing this.

Alabama does not include UAB or UAH. The UA System is closer to 1.5 billion.

University endowment directly correlates with the wealth of said university’s graduates, trust me

I believe you never spend any of the principle, and you only spend a certain percentage of the dividends each year and reinvest the rest of the dividends.

Why do the OM #'s include their medical school and Alabama's doesn't?

This is true. And UA's endowment investment pool is $785 million, per the audited financial statements.

I'm going to go out on a limb and guess that Harry Rex made up all the other numbers in the OP as well.

He most likely just pulled them off of wikipedia. Some pages have system-wide values or include separate medical schools, others do not. Regardless, people tend to misunderstand what endowments are and how they are used. It's not like one of these schools can just write a $500m check and have it taken out of the endowment.

Judging by average salary for a BA degree Vandy is the champ..

Vandy - 116k
T-A&M - 112K
Auburn - 99k
UF - 98K
UGA - 97K
Mizzu - 96K
Arky - 92k
Bama - 91k
Tenn - 89K
MSU - 89K
Ole Miss - 85K.

Two things, Auburn cheats and Ole Miss grads better get used to packing their lunches.

Google.

I'm not triggered. I will, however, point out when your OP contains less than factual information.

Factual number for the "most recent" year - $785,374,066
