I hate Tennessee. I just hate ‘em.
I don’t hate Auburn most of the time - I work with many good AU friends. Have been with quite a few AU ladies before I got hitched as well.

When I initially went in to introduce myself as his nurse and he saw the lanyard he stopped cold and basically growled "I'm a Clemson grad." My reaction was natural repulsion and I gave him a quick but polite death stare, as he did me as well, before I excused myself from his room.

I don't get people trying to pin how shitty the state is on the state university. Every state university you guys are talking about are very good to great, and are generally pleasant places to be that are open minded, free thinking and nicest parts of those states for students to be in.
And every state with an SEC school is kind of backwards and shitty in many ways.
That just makes the universities and their respective locals that much better, relatively speaking.

I can't imagine anything as heated as the iron bowl. What doesn't get mentioned is the hatred in the egg bowl. It's as intense as any.
As far as LSU Bama, that's all one sided. Had Saban not gone to Bama it wouldn't be as big to LSU fans. LsU talks Bama 365 days. It's an obsession. Bama fans are indifferent to the game until the day of. It's EASILY LSUs biggest game and its not even the biggest game in November for Bama.

I see no reason for you to disparage the Southern Conference just because the Citadel waxed your arse in 2015 and remains the second best college football team in the state of South Carolina.

Nah, I was in DC then returned to South Cack for a bit before coming here on a travel nursing assignment. These ppl are strange as hell. I miss home.

Yes, that really did happen with the Clemson guy. Third I've come across here. He's the only one that reacted that way, though. The rest actually had pretty funny reactions to me being a Carolina alum.
Travel nursing is fun. This place in particular has changed drastically since the last time I was here, though, and not for the better. I've gotten to see a lot of the country on their dime..can't beat that with a stick.
