2012 SEC title game vs. Bama
We were so f'ing hungry, you could feel it the whole game in the crowd.
It was a tough loss, but I will say walking out afterwards, the Bama fans were gracious and courteous. /respect

I experienced the same thing after we beat them in T-Town 9-6 2011 not at all suspecting they would get gifted a rematch to start their Saban Bama dynasty!!

KNOXVILLE, Tenn., Nov. 3, 1973 (AP)—Georgia upset Tennessee in the final minute today, 35-31. The play came as an aftermath of a Tennessee gamble on the fourth down that lost and gave the ball to the Bulldogs on the Vols' 26-yard line.
Tennessee had a 31-28 lead in the Southeastern Conference tilt, and apparently was on its way to victory. But with 2:32 remaining and fourth down and 2 to go on the Tennessee 28, Coach Bill Battle elected to try for the first down. But Steve Chancey, a fullback, was caught for a two-yard loss. Georgia quickly took advantage of the gift.

Prob the USF game..was fricking horrible to watch. I hated myself after for wasting around 500 bucks for parking, the tickets, food and drink etc.
I could have bought a PS5 with that money..

2000 Arkansas- on a day where it snowed, sleeted, and rained in Starkvegas all a 7-2 State team had to do was beat a 4-5 Hogs team, and we'd most likely go to the SECCG. We got up 10-0 early and with our defense that seemed enough. However, the Hogs started pounding the ball on the ground and tied it 10-10. We had a chance to win on a last second FG, but it was blocked. Hogs win 17-10 in OT. Goodbye Atlanta, and this was the beginning of the downfall of the Sherrill era.
2003 at Tulane- drove down to the Superdome, and State dominated but was only up 28-14 with about 4 and a half minutes left. Somehow, we lost 31-28 in regulation.
2025 Texas- State is up 38-21 with about 9 minutes left. Texas goes for it on 4th and 6 from their own 35. Hold here and it's over, but State holds but gets a stupid roughing the passer. Texas drives and scores, then wins 45-38 in OT. My son is an engineer and math whiz. He calculated that once State got up 38-21 with 11 minutes left if we'd just took a snap with one second on the play clock and took a knee Texas wouldn't have gotten the ball back enough to win. Lebby and his clock management.

Pick any gut wrenching heart breaking loss for UGA this century and there's a better than 90% chance I was in attendance for it.

Bryan Harsin thought he was always the smartest person in the stadium.
Worst loss I watched in person was '02 UGA. 4th and forever TD pass to take the lead with a little over a minute to go. Cost Auburn a spot in the SECCG and punched Georgia's ticket. And it all happened about 30 feet in front of me.

Thankfully, when I'm in attendance we generally win, but 2017 ou game sucked. We started down 20-0 so it looked like another blowout. OU seemed inept in the second half as Texas took a one-point lead in the 4th quarter. Then Mayfield finally tossed a second half TD to win the game. Baker improved to 2-2 all-time against the Horns with that win.
