Final score was 21-14. Keith Brown caught a late TD and got knocked cold. It was an awful game by both teams and yes it was Jacksonville

I'll also throw in

-1990 Bama: Our game-winning field goal gets blocked and rolls all the way down the field in time for Bama to jump on the ball and kick their own game-winner. Literally how tf does that happen

-2000 Florida: That was not a catch. Every Florida fan knows it, too

-2014 Florida: I hate Butch Jones

-2015 OU: I hate Butch Jones. Literally, the game that made Baker Mayfield

Me and a buddy bought some cheap tickets from Tenn fans and sat in the visitors section for the Monday night football game post Katrina.

07 Arkansas - that was a 7-4 Arkansas team (albeit with the McFadden-Felix Jones combo) playing my no. 1 ranked Tigers in DV on the last day of the season and they beat our top-ranked team in 3 OTs. Once that game ended, I thought our natty chances were toast and that we blew a golden opportunity like we "did" the year prior (frick the refs in Jordan-Hare that day). Thankfully, the 2007 season was as crazy as it was with second chances.

12 Alabama - I maintain Saban's Bama dominance of the SEC and college football writ-large truly began this night not January 9 earlier that year. To let Yeldon just basically walk into the end zone and them drive down the field so methodically and us not close the game out IN A HOME GAME AT NIGHT, we snatched defeat from the jaws of victory. That outcome solidified that Saban's Bama would be the SEC power to stay and mentally broke LSU when it came to this rivalry during that era, that and 2014.

I was there for that one. It was in 1992. I was in Haley Center taking the LSAT for the first half and could hear the crowd cheering, and then headed over to the stadium when I was done. Our offense was horrid that day, and that set the tone for the rest of the year.

That can't be the year. Favre was in the NFL in 1991

05 LSU - good game better team won but we certainly could have won it must didn’t make enough plays

How can this be b/c every gump talks about how bama was terrible before Saban came in but in reality y'all were ranked pretty high for this game so what gives.

P.S. I was there and loved the gump tears

2012 Bama wins in last minute with Yeldon screen pass. Yuck. Had a corpulent Bama fan silenced the 4th quarter until that.

Because even when Bama sucks, they still manage to pull off a 10 win season mixed in the shitty years.

Miami beat LSU something like 58-3 in Tiger Stadium in the rain. Jimmy Johnson was there coach (I think). It was the worst night in Tiger Stadium ever, at least for me.

58-3 was the loss to Florida in 1993. The Miami game you're thinking of was in 1988 and was 44-3 in a monsoon.

Arkansas has won every game I personally attended. Which isn't a lot I grant you. Notably I left before a game started against Alabama because I was feeling sick and we got pasted.

1979 LSU-USC, 17-12. That USC team was one of the most talented I've ever seen take the field against LSU. Lots of NFL Hall of Famers on the USC roster.

You are always a good read on here, I've missed you too.

From your lips to God's ears when it comes to history... or Chicken's ears as the case may be.

I've not been on as much, life is hectic. Still football season is near so for a week or two I'll be optimistic before that crashes down around me. Good times!

9-6

It was so miserable to watch Alabama lose to a team that I just knew they were at least 21 points better than.

How was it a cheap shot? He got hit hard and tackled with the football.

Maybe he shouldn’t have kept the ball on the play.

For the record: I wish he didn’t get hurt and was excited about the game.

I'm going to assume that poster was trolling. I mean, the bar is low on this board, but I think basically no one is that big of a pussy to call that a cheap shot in earnest. Well, maybe WillyT. But no one else.
