When State loses, it’s because of an entire game of ineptitude.

Stoerenover is hard to top for any team.
Fish Fumble gets an honorable mention.
Interception in the Sugar Bowl. That one stung all offseason

Honestly just pick ANY of the 46 FREAKING CARRIES that Tre Mason had in the '13 Championship game.

This play... over and over and over again and our crack defensive coordinator couldn't figure out how to slow it down in the slightest.

quote:That was a backbreaker and IMO, far worse for LSU than losing the NC game the year before. If they'd won that game, they'd have been right back in the thick of it. As it was, LSU was in purgatory until 2019.
For LSU it is the TJ Yeldon screen. Nothing compares.

Wheel route but that's not limited to SEC games. Anyone that plays A&M and doesn't run the play 4 to 6 times is doing it wrong.

I’ll say Jeremy Hill busting it up the middle for 50 yards against LSU in 2012. Brutal end for the Gamecocks who played a tough game in a tough environment

If I could change any two plays in Auburn history:
1. Double dribble against Virginia in the final 4 - we would have won our first national title in basketball in our history.
2. FSU touchdown in the final minute for our second football national championship in 4 years.
Neither is SEC but none compares.

Not a single play as much as a missed opportunity on a possession.
2012 against LSU. 8:35 left in the 4th down 12-17. A&M returns a kickoff to the LSU 14 yard line. No points at all on that possession. If the rest of the conference season played out as it did with an A&M win that day then the Ags are in the conference championship game. If and buts, right?

Mizzou has a laundry list of these.
In the last year alone:
- Mevis misses the game winning chip shot in regulation @ Auburn
- Peat fumbles inches from the goal line in OT @ Auburn
- UK long snapper sails the ball 20 yrds. over the punters head, MIZ defender obviously lights the dude up, penalty. Rule revision during the off season.

Tipped pass in the 2012 SECCG to close out the game.
And many more.
Good list.
For non-SEC games, the phantom fumble by Jasper Sanks against GT always got under my skin. More because it was a poor call by the officials than the meaningfulness of the game though.

Chubb's injury at Kneeland stadium was one that literally made me sick to my stomach.

And they kept showing the replay and stopping it to see when/if he fumbled. That was brutal.

At the time, this put me into a depression
Senior year, build up to that game was unreal, nobody could focus on school, the buzz was electric all week on campus, game day was incredible, celebrities in the house etc.
If that pass isn’t called a pick, you have to think Bama punches it in from the 2 and wins that game with a TD
I went back to my room and probably sat in darkness until Wednesday

Mount Cody blocked FG in 09.
The entire 01 SECCG.

I don't know if its the worst call ever, but that was pretty egregious.
