She’s getting paid. I’m in construction and don’t know what my wife’s company is calling it. She’s been out for more than 3 months and they’re treating it as mental-health related. But I’m more talking about the fact she actually said “she can’t think” and that’s a reasonable enough excuse to not work.

My wife(no pics) has a woman in her 30’s that works for her. She has been out on FMLA/paid leave(whatever they call it) for 3 months now because, and I quote…she can’t think. Only at work. Crazy coincidence right? We were talking about her one night and I asked if she can’t think, how TF can she do literally anything? Absolutely crazy. HR and lazy people strike again.

They already do. I guarantee you the majority of anyone in HR uses Chat GT/AI to write up people/send emails, anything really. Plus 90% of them are the equivalent to the safety guy on a jobsite
