The coach had a very good point as Applewhite got treated with kid gloves (out of raise consideration for one year) while she got terminated.

Good question. However, it's my understanding that surgeries were suspended for quite some time. Thus, someone diagnosed with colon cancer may have had to wait months for the resection. Can't be good for the survival stats. Meaning, deaths may be occurring that wouldn't normally have taken place.
