re: Former LSU standout Jacob Hester defends Heupel's dynamic offense
When that talent continuously sees players fail to develop and get taken high in the draft, they will take their talents somewhere else.
This is a pretty shite take. In the 3 drafts prior to Heupel's arrival, the Vols had 4 players drafted. In the 3 seasons since he's been here, the...

Sure, I think most would agree that SOS matters at least to some degree. I also think most would agree that the NCAA tournament is what matters most in defining success of a season.
However, I think winning a regular season major conference championship is also something to be celebrated and is ...
Wins/Losses- schedule strengths vary wildly. Texas finished the year with 21 wins. Meanwhile James Madison finished the year with 32 wins. One made the NCAA Tourney 2nd round, and one got left out completely. Any metric that gives James Madison a higher score for this season over Texas is 100...
re: Why do teams just not play zone against Purdue?

I agree that the Vols forced Knecht and needed another scorer. Certainly not the first time that's been the case this year. While not necessarily sharp shooters, would have loved for them to run some plays to get JJ and Gainey more looks. JJ hit several 3s in the tournament and wish he shot more.

Will you please try to quit spilling your ignorance all over the board? "You're more likely to die going to work" idiotic red herring bullshite. Yeah, you're more likely to die if you're not wearing your seat belt. Should we abolish seat belt laws? I'm 38. Life long athlete up through college, traine...

I've seen this 4.3 40 claim a few times now. Genuinely curious, where is this coming from? All I can find is numbers in the 4.6s, which is still very fast for a QB, but obviously very different than 4.3....

This board is full of Tennessee trolls and alters. It's so bad I quit posting for about 3 years because they're so bad it's hard for anyone to take even a reasonable fan seriously. Most of the Vols fans I know IRL are actually very reasonable and are in wait and see mode for this season. We have som...
Sean is full of shite.

This. Adult adoption is legal and relatively easy in TN. BS any lawyer told him it wasn't....

You mean you think Sean is lying when he says these things?...
re: Oher blindsided, gaslit by Tuohy family; wishes he had gone to Tennessee

The Tuohy's are completely full of shite. Now Sean is saying they couldn't adopt him because he was over 18 and they don't allow that. Adult adoption is completely legal in TN and is in fact simpler than adopting a child. The fact that he gave that as the excuse for having him sign a conservatorship ...

I am also holding out hope that he goes to WKU with Helton. I have absolutely zero personal beef with JG. Unlike a lot of unhinged fans, I realize the kid is doing the best he can. Unfortunately, despite the recruiting rankings, JG just isn't an SEC QB. He had shite luck having so many different (and...

If you're actually adverse to getting your kid into one of the big 3 I would actually recommend getting them into BJJ. They'll learn all of the lessons they would in traditional sports, and they'll be able to handle themselves if they ever find themselves in a position where they need to defend them...
