SEC and Sankey already getting named in lawsuits as a codefendants

I hope so. It will be fun to watch the SEC go scorched earth on LSU.

You have never been correct about anything here. So I fully expect we will learn that LSU is arse deep in it.

Bite the hand that feeds you

The court system is not everyday life. Old sayings like "what's right" and "don't bite the hand that feeds you" isn't something that holds up. If this goes the distance, the SEC will be legally barred from retaliation against LSU, the players, or the other teams involved in this.

What about the one that was filed in Texas with Sankey as defendant?

I understand you don’t like LSU, but this is bigger than LSU.

What are you going to say when the State of Alabama joins in.

The individual states are shoving it back at the SEC.

There are people inside the SEC who want to make an example of LSU. There has been talk of withholding LSU’s share of TV revenue, which would effectively bankrupt LSU athletics.

That is why I hope Kiffin, Rousse, Landry and Ausberry stick to their guns. They will not win, but the longer they fight the bloodier it will be.

Texas and Kentucky brought the SEC and Sankey in first.

No they aren’t. Some greedy players are. Some greedy lawyers are egging it on. And dumbfrick fans think they will win.

But only one school and one state’s governor have tried to bow up and posture against the SEC - LSU and Landry.

This will work out like it did when they raised the federal legal drinking age to 21. Louisiana cussed and spit and threatened. And then when given the option of raising the drinking age to 21 or losing 10% of federal highway funds they complied.

Texas and Kentucky are too valuable to nail to the wall. And they are smart enough to just let the court cases play out instead of scheduling press conferences and tv interviews to try it in the court of public opinion. LSU, Kiffin and Landry are not this smart.

I understand why Landry is doing it. Votes. Because it is clear that LSU fans are eating it up. Even while the rest of the world knows this will not end well for them.
