LOL. Once again "evidence" from transcripts no one has seen of a tape no one has heard. Completely laughable. But lets believe YahooSports with absolutely no evidence.

It amazes me that anyone would believe LSU is paying out that kind of money to one player.

It makes much more sense that Wade was :

1 Offering Richardson 300k to be out assistant coach (thats what they make at LSU)

2 saying we had an offer in place to lock up Nz

I mean I still think we paid Naz and "the offer" for sure is money, but anyone saying its 300k makes no sense

Listed below are the current FBS schools that have been placed on probation, in which the school’s football team was somehow involved. It’s important to keep in mind that violations in other sports often bring attention to a school’s entire athletic program. Sometimes the football violations paled in comparison to violations in other sports, but if the football program was involved I still listed them (i.e. Baylor’s probation from 2005-09).

Don't even try. I see the usual cast of idiots is in here. Being proven wrong again and again and again is zero deterrent for them.

So LSU is gonna pay 300k for a fricking basketball player but trot out fricking quarterbacks who can’t throw forward for a fricking decade?

I wonder if they have had enough time to discover which players were paid from the slush fund at the hospital.

You know, once the NCAA is on campus (and they are at LSU, the AD said this) it can and will expand to other sports. Namely football.

Statute of limitations can't save LSU like with the Penn St, Notre Dame and other schools.
1. This IS a melt, a YUGE one.

2. Statute of limitations means the NCAA can't punish that particular offense.

It doesn't prevent them from launching an investigation into a school if there is suspicion of WRONG DOING.

They can't launch an investigation without probable cause.

Even if they did, statute of limitations will apply. Can't punish anything more than 4 years ago.

LSU's happened less than a calendar year.
