Where? I must have missed this completely. Are you talking about the agent that tried to influence players that were leaving college football?

And are you trying to compare it with your coach paying players to get them to come to LSU?

You can't really believe what the guy today said under oath. He probably lied. He doesn't care about going to jail for lying under oath. Only people that say things about Bama under oath are truthful.

So some guy said Alabama cheated and LSU fans were screaming about the death penalty and now they’re saying this is nothing?

Little legal lesson for some of yall ... with out proof (Money) or admittance of guilt there is no case against Will Wade.

Someone should have told told this to the lawyers that represented defendants in thousands of cases where the defendant was convicted based solely on witness testimony.

Everyone cheats, we all know and recognize that.

Last week a self-professed financial adviser testified that he paid players in order too acquire their business after they went to the NFL.

This week a tape is entered into testimony where a former AZ coach (Richardson) claims to have had discussions with Will Wade regarding $$ to sway recruits.

Difference being he said he paid them with no school involvement.

Plus statute of limitations.

These are not the schools cheating. The schools actually hate this happening and would love to prevent it. It's just not really possible.

Unless it can be shown that the schools knew it was happening and did nothing/covered it up. Then the schools can get in trouble for lack of control.

Basketball seems to just be a really toxic environment.

Nah, I don't think he's actually touching the money at all.

It appears that he may be doing some behind the scenes brokering though. Or at minimum he knows who to contact and he's in direct discussions with the agents & money men that know how to get a strong arse offer to the right decision making people in a players family.

Listed below are the current FBS schools that have been placed on probation, in which the school’s football team was somehow involved. It’s important to keep in mind that violations in other sports often bring attention to a school’s entire athletic program. Sometimes the football violations paled in comparison to violations in other sports, but if the football program was involved I still listed them (i.e. Baylor’s probation from 2005-09).

College Football (FBS) Programs That Have Been Sanctioned the Most

Note: The count includes seasons not yet completed (i.e. USC 2012-2013).
Rk School Seasons Sanctioned
1 Southern Methodist (TX) 17 7
