This is what our government should be doing, fighting injustice. Well done boys.

Once the game is in the books, it is in the books - I hate this silliness.

One thing to note - it says it was by unanimous consent by the Senate? Doesn't Kansas have Senators? Can't believe they would not have objected to this. Must not be up for re-election soon.

congrats on your total national championships in school history growing to 3

That's pretty bad especially when Auburn football has 9 by itself.

The only reason he was allowed to play is because Kansas fought to delay his eligibility hearing until after the season. Not only did they have to forfeit the Mizzou game, but also their “win” against Colorado.

They absolutely knew he was ineligible and played him anyway. There’s a word for that.

And it’s not like he was inconsequential in the disputed game. He scored two touchdowns.

I mean, that's where I stand on it. It wasn't some bullshite technicality or something.

kU intentionally kept playing this guy all season (think Brendan Sorsby situation) knowing they had nothing to lose. He wasn't just some role player sitting on the roster.

In 1960 haw fat was the Mizzou coach?

Serious competition for the wide load kansas coach in the Orange Bowl? Dude made that round orange mascot look downright thin.

That's pretty cool. Alabama is currently discussing forfeiting the 1941 NC and appropriating the 1966 NC, thereby giving Bama the very rare in college football history, 3-Peat.

Alabama really won it anyway. No one on Planet Earth knows why Bama claims the '41 NC and not the '66 NC, which they actually won.

If that resolution fails to get the needed votes, Alabama will proceed to claim the '80 NC and get the 3-Peat that way. frick Georgia anyway.

Your football program / university is so dumb that they need the government to tell them they won a national championship?
