Yeah, this one sucks guys.
Leach brought an extra layer of entertainment and flair to CFB.
He will be missed by the CFB world as a whole.
RIP Coach leach!

College football was better with him in it. RIP coach, and prayers to his family and the MSU family.

When Coach Leach was at Washington State and they were one of the late games on TV, I'd make it a point to stay awake just to watch them play simply because it was his team on the field.
Man, his passing really, really hurts ..

Lost a good one today. Rest easy, Coach Leach.

Definitely a bird of a different feather, but he was interesting as hell, and a really good offensive mind.
Thoughts and prayers go out to his family..

Of all the coaches in any sport this is one that hurts the most. What a man.

He owned us at two separate schools but it was impossible not to love him. RIP

May God bless the Leach family and the MSU family and wrap them in his comforting arms. My prayers are certainly with them.

This is awful. My favorite coach behind a microphone. RIP Pirate. You will be sorely missed.

I wasn't a big fan of the Air Raid, but I was a big fan of Mike Leach.

So, so sorry to read about this this morning. I knew he was not well, but this is so sad. We had opportunities to play against him when he coached at Tech. Fantastic coach. May he rest with angels.

This is very, very sad. I really enjoyed him being at State. He was always a light during the darkness of these past three years. He will be missed by all of us. My prayers for his family and for all of the State family.

One of the few coaches that it can be argued deserves a statue outside of 3 stadiums

Kudos to 810 WHB in Kansas City. They just cut in and spent a good 20 min talking about The Pirate and honoring the man.
RIP Coach.

RIP. He was truly one of a kind.
It's some small comfort to read that he was an organ donor though. While today is a sad day, some people got a new lease on life because of his selflessness. He will live on through them.
