What is worse:
-Decision making when running out the clock
-Letting WR get behind defense
All black uniforms with neon green numbers

Final 2 mins

-the fact that a team who just lost to Georgia Tech beat Gay&M like a bunch of redheaded step children

aTm’s only loss was to this ranked team who should have been undefeated going into upcoming UNC and Clemson games. Instead they lost to 2-3 GaTech.

His elbow was 100% down when the defender ripped the ball out, but I assume the replay booth discussion went something like:

“I agree, his elbow is clearly down, but we have to make a point here because every coach seems to be horrible at end game clock management.”

“So…fumble, then”

“Yeah. Screw it. Let’s insert ‘karma’ into this. He’s done this crap before. Fumble.”

highlights made it way worse than I thought. Everything I read talked about the blunder of not kneeling on that 3rd down play that would’ve ended the game.

THEY ALSO DIDNT KNEEL ON FIRST OR SECOND DOWN EITHER!!!!!

What a pathetically stupid coaching decision. If that fumble occurred on first or second down then it would’ve been even stupider. They had an entire series where the game was over where they ran the ball and GT was unlucky that they didn’t fumble until 3rd down and still made Miami pay for their mistake. Cristobal is the stupidest son of a bitch at this level and I don’t support Miami at all.

Can’t imagine the melt coming from some of their fans. LSU would’ve made sure he never stepped foot back on campus again after that

What a fricking dumb arse

If I was their AD, I would have walked down on the field and fired him on the spot right there in front of the cameras and everything. My 75 year old mother in law knew that was a dumb move and they are paying this guy millions.

That's the sort of decision that can honestly hurt a program, even in recruiting. If I'm a 5 star player this morning, I'm thinking..."Do I want to play for someone THAT incompetant"?

This was the season he was going to reverse the narrative. Would probably have game day on campus in 2 weeks with his top-10 ranking and Clemson coming to town. He choked it away. I can only think he wanted to kick a FG on 4th down.

He didnt fumble the ball but he basically put his team in a position to lose that could have, and should have, been avoided.

You have to think one of his coaches was telling him to kneel on it. Hell, Jesse Palmer was yelling it from the booth. The bachelor knew better.

Forgot that he did the same thing at Oregon. At least Oregon fail to kneel was on 2nd and 2 and a first down ends it. This was 3rd and 10. I’m almost embarrassed for him.

Baylor HC Kevin Steele in the Baylor-UNLV game is the all-time best in this category.

LINK

quote:

With just 20 seconds to go and UNLV out of timeouts, the Bears had a 24-21 lead. With a first down on the UNLV 8-yard-line, Steele’s first victory was essentially wrapped up.

All it took was a knee to run out the clock. Steele decided against that.

It would be a decision that will live in infamy.

Instead of running out the clock and taking the 3-point victory, Steele wanted to score. The ball was handed off to running back Darrel Bush, who try to barrel his way into the end zone.

Before he could get there, he was stripped of the football by UNLV linebacker Tyler Brickell. The ball squirted into the end zone where it was picked up by UNLV’s Kevin Thomas.

When Thomas picked up the football, there was nothing but green grass in front of him. He raced the distance of the field the other way as time expired to give the Runnin’ Rebels an improbable 27-24 victory.

Agreed. Which is why it appeared to roll out instead of pulled out

Les Miles thinks that was some solid coaching. Imposing his will with the run.
