It is cool that on the same day as Bama/aTm, a former aTm player threw it to a former Bama player for the win.

The ending reminded me of an NFL game many many years ago. Might have been the Eagles? Can’t remember. They could have taken a knee with less than 30 seconds but handed off, fumbled, and it was returned by defense for TD and win.

Amazingly stupid of Miami.

Absolutely atrocious coaching, that's right up there with the jets coaching gaf from the 70's..

Edit, may have the eagles as stated about

This is the right answer. Honestly just throwing some stuff is tame. Imagine if a team like Ohio State did this, at home, at night.

Their fans burn couches when they win. Imagine what would happen if they lost like this.

Ugly thought.

Can’t imagine the melt coming from some of their fans. LSU would’ve made sure he never stepped foot back on campus again after that

I see you missed the final minute of the 2009 LSU/Mississippi game.

Not the first time not kneeling has cost Cristobol. He's lost like 3 games from refusing to kneel.

Does Miami think they are getting good press for choosing to employ the first head coach that is cognitively impaired?

I know of no Bama fans who want him, now or ever. Ok, maybe a couple before he went to Oregon because he's an excellent OL coach and did well at that for us. We do have a couple or fans who toss out the name of any former Bama assistant if they get a smidgen of success, like Napier. In spite of some success at Oregon, almost every year he lost games to teams he had no business losing to. He lost to a Cal team that had a losing record. And let's not forget the prison raping MTSU put on Miami last year.

Mario Cristobal should have been fired on the field before he got back to the locker room.

Choking is fricking up due to an inability to handle the pressure of the moment. I think this was just stupidity.

He knew. He was looking to pad stats and maybe break a run for a TD. Chaney broke the 100yd mark on the fumble play and extended a streak of 100 yd games. Cristobal maybe figured 5-0 was in the bag and a better margin might help them in the polls. But he knew exactly what he was doing.

GT still had to go 74 yds in 26 seconds with no timeouts to get the W. Got the chance because Miami got greedy. Nobody made Cristobal do that. He earned the L.
