btw...it's what an economic recovery looks like after a deep recession...which has continued on and is now the longest recovery in US history. My point wasn't to give Obama credit...my point was that if you give the president credit for the economy, you don't get to only do this for your guy. In fact, historically, the economy has performed better while a democrat was president...that's primarily for Keynsian reasons, not because liberal fiscal policy is better for the economy in the long-term...but liberal fiscal policy (spending with no regard to the budget) is exactly what we've gotten the past 2 years. So with your fancy graphs you should be blaming Bush and not Trump. Obama also had the lowest interest rates and had all kinds of government programs that gave consumers the advantage. A lot of those programs will come back to bite us in the arse.
The second chart when talking about government spending, Trump isnt the only one who does the budget. How much of that spending is on big government programs that take care of many people? When it comes to economics, Trump really cant get much better than where he is - you should know this since you are the one that is boasting about economics in your posts. A simple Macro class would tell you that.
Military spending? Sure its ridiculous, but why blame Trump? You know that most of the most expensive programs in the military was contracts that were done during the Obama Administration. F-35, H1 program for example, as well as many others, and new technology is not cheap. Trump really hasnt had any of that, and those programs are really starting to take on the brunt of those contracts.
Trump wants to pull out of wars and stop this spending because he knows that it is going into politicians pockets. Hence why Mattis resigned/fired (and I am a Marine who enjoyed Mattis). There is so many government contractors and defense contractors that have been lining their pockets for years. Obama said he wanted to pull out, but never did, in fact, he got further involved. And yes, this is personal because the first person who got killed in Operation Inherent Resolve, was a close friend.
You need to realize that there is more to the picture than what you posted with your little charts that show numbers that all people dont understand. And you need to post charts that show the whole picture of how much the government wastes on foreign aid and other bullshite that happened during the Obama Administration that we are still paying for.
