What dumbass would think he would make a comment otherwise ?

Really?..nobody prompted him to compare the two QBs. Those were HIS thoughts, AND like I said "most folks will take the opinion of an NFL player who actually has caught passes from the QBs over one of an airplane teacher."

Sorry for giving an objective view from watching the game. I had a good weekend, by the way. Was listening to a Bill Simmons podcast on way to work this morning, he also noted that the Pats had open receivers all game. Not sure why you are emotionally upset at me pointing it out.

Really? He interrupted a PC to make those comments? You are either the most delusional Bama dumbass or so FOS that you think people will believe your crap if you say it enough. Do you know how it works in the NFL?

Mac's played fine given the situation around him and what's been available to him. He's looked at his best when they spread things out and let him basically call the game at the LOS. Their personel just doesn't match up very well for throwing the ball down the field - neither at WR, OL or a running game that has to be respected. There is certainly reason to be excited about how Mac has handled things so far and how he played last night, but that is obviously on a "rookie" scale, which has lower benchmarks than for more veteran guys. Hopefully he keeps getting better as the year goes on and they can start making some real plays in the passing game. As of now they're basically required to go on 13 play drives with a bunch of quick routes to score TDs. That's a tough life in the NFL.

Loved watching him last night, he's an easy kid to root for. Hope he keeps getting better.

I agree completely. He'll be better when they let him air it out downfield more, Pats need to add a vertical threat and a couple of o-linemen.

I think he would have been much better off with any of the other teams that drafted a QB. He would have taken his lumps, but he could have worked on his downfield passing game. He has none now and Defenses have the formula to beat the Pats now. Again, the Pats opponents have 6 wins and 3 of those are against the Pats. The Bucs were a shell of themselves last night due to injuries, they lose to 90% of the rest of the league under those circumstances . They only win because the Pats are inept on Offense. They are 27th in the league in scoring, most of which came against the JETS.

You're losing it, SkyKing!
Read his EXACT words:
“He’s ready for everything that’s coming his way and he’s improving in that direction,” receiver Kendrick Bourne said. “You know, football is football. You don’t know how it’s going to go, but the way he’s handling the situations like this, playing the Jets or whoever it may be, he’s the same quarterback, the same kind of mindset. And he looks like a baby Tom ."

SkyKing....[b]just stop!

The more posts you make, the bigger the idiot you become!
Man, this can't be good for your self esteem!

It is just amazing at what Bama fans are seeing

So you would rather see him throw downfield to receivers that AREN'T open than to check down to one's that are. Because I'm sure I heard a hall of fame receiver last night comment on how impressed he was with how Mac played and especially one play where he did check the ball down and said "that's what an NFL quarterback is supposed to do and that's what separates the other rookie qb's." I think I trust what Chris Collinsworth has to say quite a bit more than keyboard warrior Irons puppet.

Your "expert" opinions mean shite to me.
Your obsession with Mac Jones is really weird though. Every thread he is mentioned in, you are there to give your hot take. Are you and WT21 the same person?

yep, thats what dumb frick thinks nfl qbs are supposed to do. also, no nfl qb would ever dink and dunk when the team cant run the ball, or throw a designed screen when the other team is blitzing every down. no, you just gotta chuck it up up for jump balls.

99% of his posts are Bama related. As Jeff Foxworthy would say, "the boy is just eat up."

Of the rookie qb's taken in the first round, Jones has been the best so far. He seemed to be as advertsied, accurate and the most pro ready. Late in the game he was rocking an 80 percent completion rate, even for dinking and dunking, that is outstanding. But let's be honest, this year's qb's class is not what they hyped it up to be. Jones is the best qb so far in a bad draft class for qb's.
