No, it's not. Those that could move back in, which is probably the majority, have already done so. I had my family back in the house 9 days after the flood. We're roughing it but we are able to stay at home and so are a lot of people.

I am glad your family was able to move back in, but the rooms are booked because of all the workers, relief workers, FEMA still covering the bill for victims until 10/15 prolly be extended. Your family sucked it up, many will not and take advantage.

I own motels in MCCOMB and Brookhaven I know.

Again I said New Orleans is possible to accommodate, but you LSU fans are extremely salty today.

So Florida didn't want to play the game in Baton Rouge three years in a row and LSU fans are pissed for some reason? The LSU fan base is the most delusional and irrational fan base in the entire conference.

This really can't be stated enough. For the record, this is also the same fan base that can't handle the mentioning of another certain storm without banning. Again, the one fan base that should empathize with the Florida fan base, is instead is mocking them.

Are you retarded? If you want to point fingers at somebody point them at UF. They could have gotten a free ride OUT OF Florida AWAY from the hurricane but their coach would rather stay there and avoid a loss than risk a loss and be totally safe in a comfy hotel 800 miles away. WE TRIED TO HELP.

Everyone knew on Tuesday this game wasn't going to be played in Gainesville on Saturday. Florida stalled until there was no other choice but to cancel. LSU was willing to play this game ANYWHERE and on Tuesday there was plenty of time to book a neutral site for the game. Florida REFUSED to play the game anywhere except Gainesville. The SEC should have forced Florida to make a decision on Tuesday but nobody up there has any balls.

Afraid of losing to LSU.

This game should be this weekend in Baton Rouge.

You got 5 SEC home games last year, while every other team got 4. Now you're mad it won't be 2 years in a row. And that is unfair to LSU?

Suck it up buttercup.

LSU offered Fla. T.S. on Tues & again on Wed. and Foley dragged it out till late this afternoon when it was too late to make a change. LSU fans know better than many just what a hurricane can do to a community. No one was pushing for that. Funny how S.Carolina made the change happen under the same exact circumstances last yr.

The difference is that South Carolina wasn't trying to get out of playing LSU.

After it had dramatically altered its course that morning. Who was to say it wouldn't change course again? Hurricanes have been known to change course and or strengthen unexpectedly.

LSU also offered to play them at a neutral site in Birmingham, Mobile, Tampa, New Orleans, Tallahassee, Atlanta, etc. LSU offered to play in Gainesville on sunday or monday, even if they had to do so in an empty stadium due to a lack of available peace officers, but Florida told them to pound sand.

LSU fans should be rightly upset by this.

The World's Largest Cocktail Party should be moved up a week and LSU should play @ Florida Halloween Weekend. That would make sure no one loses a game, but that would make sense and result in zero lost revenue for anyone, so tyat idea is DOA.

Probably because the state would still be recovering from the landfall of a major hurricane. A good portion of the Florida coast line is going to be affected. Many resources will be diverted to help with the recovery effort.

That's why you call it a CONTINGENCY PLAN. They should have had multiple options ready but they were either incompetent or purposely put it off.

Last night you literally said the weather will only be a 10% chance of rain Saturday and Gainesville will easily be able to host a game. You are such a pussy

It isn't. But on Tuesday, for all they knew, the hurricane could have continue to shift westward and hit Gainesville as a hurricane.
