A Category 4/5 storm is barreling down on the coast of Florida and you think Gainesville will be ready by Sunday or Monday?

You are more delusional than I thought.

Florida officials thought they were going to be ready to play Saturday morning and didn't cancel anything from happening in Gainesville until today. Do you know what delusional is?

Same reason they didn't want to play the game Saturday or Sunday in either Baton Rouge or Gainsville.

They'd rather cancel than have LSU stomp them.

LSU also offered to play them at a neutral site in Birmingham, Mobile, Tampa, New Orleans, Tallahassee, Atlanta, etc. L

No, fans on here did. Where did any of those cities offer to take on a logistical and financial nightmare to pull a game off in days?

LSU offered to play in Gainesville on sunday or monday,

There is a Cat 4 hurricane threatening to demolish the coastline, and you want law enforcement committed to a game when they don't even know where law enforcement in that area is going to be needed?

The World's Largest Cocktail Party should be moved up a week and LSU should play @ Florida Halloween Weekend.

That's a good option.

Last night you literally said the weather will only be a 10% chance of rain Saturday and Gainesville will easily be able to host a game.

Good thing these decisions are not made by keyboard warriors.

Louisiana went through both Katrina and Rita In consecutive weeks. ASU game was moved to ASU and TN was moved to a Monday night. I will not sympathize.

Exactly. LSU and South Carolina went through this and it worked fine.

Florida is just afraid of playing LSU.

The problem is, this is NOT LSU's decision to make. And they're melting because of it.

It's UF's right to do whatever they want. Go pound sand Tigers.

You will respect my decision and not like it. It's my fault.

Don't forget Gustav moving our App State game up to 10:00am back in 2008. F$&k that game.

Also, didn't we have a year where our first game had to be postponed until the bye week, forcing us to play 12 games in a row?

You know, this wouldn't be a bad thread to make a "fishing" thread for old time's sake.

I'd rather hijack the Aggie one though. Too much gay and not enough "fish"

No

We actually want to play our game dumbass

We already lost a full season last year

We want every chance to control our own destiny

So of course we'd want to play Alabama then not

Your logic is flat out false and idiotic and LSU has shown they are willing to relocate a game than miss it completely

So shut your fricking ignorant mouth up

There's only so many games. It flat out sucks missing out on any of them when it's easily preventable

Every thread for the past two days would have been better with fishing hotties.

Sources also confirmed that Foley out maneuvered Alleva.

If the same situation happened later this season with LSU and Bama, I can almost guarantee LSU would do the same thing UF did.

Accept LSU has already done this before.

They traveled to Arizona in the first game Les Miles coached for what was supposed to be a home game.
