Until Clemson deliberately targeted his ankle and took him out ...

They’ll try the same on Clyde in the Dome

There isn't a defense in the league that can stop this offense.

Dobbins ran on Clemson, and Najee ran on LSU.
Etienne will be able to run on LSU

LSU Is Gonna Have Their Hands Full

Correct...with awards and trophies.

quote:

LSU’s defense has struggled vs good offenses

LSU's D held the two top 5 scoring offenses they have played (Bama and OU) to 14 points under their scoring average. Bama had a punt return for a TD, so LSU's D gave up 34 to them. Their offense is averaging 48 ppg. They held Auburn to 14 points under their average too and they are #26 in scoring offense.

In fact, of the six top 50 scoring offenses that they have played, only one wasn't held well below their scoring average for the season. That was Texas in the 1st game of the season. They are averaging 35 ppg. LSU gave up 38 ppg to them. That was a long time ago though and LSU had lots of injuries back then. Clemson has a great team that knows how to win obviously. It's a title game so I expect a good game, but Clemson is going to have their hands full too in that environment with this offense, the best passing offense I have ever seen in college.

OU was a joke.

Btw remember when Alabama slaughtered OU with Kyler Murray, only to get a dose of reality vs Clemson?

I remember Bama bearings OU 45-34. LSU just beat OU 63-28 and had backups in for nearly the entire 4th quarter.

Go away.

I’m telling you, don’t underestimate Dabo and Trevor Lawrence.

So me disproving a statement someone made about LSUs D not being able to handle good offenses means Im underestimating Dabo and Trevor Lawrence... Got it.

LSUs defense just held the #4 offense in the country to its worst passing performance in 4 years

Big EZ spelled it out better...

I don't think the players and coaches are underestimating a team that has appeared in 4 of the last 5 championship games ...

We don't play

Clemson will definitely be the best team they’ve faced all year. Trevor Lawrence is a monster.

Duh

Ditto for Clemson and it ain't even close.

quote:

To top it off, Clemson has a coaching advantage in this game. As great as Joe Brady is, he doesn’t outweigh Dabo and Venebles

It’s gonna be a slugfest

This isn't just Brady vs Dabo/Venebles. I know you THINK it is but you're wrong.

I’ve never seen a more Arrogant and over confident fanbase heading into their first CFP NC game than the LSU crew on this site. When Clemson played Bama in our first CFP NC we were deferential to Bama and hoped to make a good showing. Try winning a meaningful NC game before mouthing off to the defending champs...oh and hope your team doesn’t choke.

Agreed. They keep going on and on about this unstoppable force of an offense (that got shut down by Auburn), and how this is the most dominant team of all time.

Then when they win on a last second play, they’ll say “Told ya so” as if they completely dominated you.

Gotta say, I was gonna root for LSU, but tiger fans make that so hard.

I wish both teams could lose

Last one was nearly 2 months ago. LSU has blown everyone out since.

Clemson also has a pretty good defense. At least good enough to get some stops

The defense just dominated OUs offense.

What pisses you off most about LSU recent success?

A) The torment we enjoy (schadenfreude, look it up you dumb fricking Gump) laying down when you dickride Dababboon Swinney
B) Knowing deep down that Saban is passed it and will never win another championship
C) That Tua was bitchslapped this season after leading the field for the Heisman when Alabama was relevant and ranked Number 1
D) Knowing your Tide n Sweet Cheeks Saban are coming to our house in 2020 for a beat down and Death Valley Mack Jones baptism
E) All of the above and dozens more ...

I got a million of em ... I’ll feed you these M&Ms a few a day until Nov 2020 ... That’s a day when Alabama gonna “have their hands full” ... And of course with full hands we’ll just have to hand your asses to you Back Bayou Style with John Emory gut stomping you between Myles Brennan 80% pass Completions

LSU hangs 50+ on Clemson ... We’re fricking #1 in Red Zone Scoring ... Joe delivers

Besides ... somebody gotta wipe that smug fricking look off Dababboon’s Swinney’s face after he fricked the SEC 44-16 ...

You’re irrelevant Gump ... Back of the bus bitch ... The Big Boys carry on for SEC honor
