You have confused last years Clemson with this years Clemson.

Offensively the threat to move the ball and control the clock with the running game is scary. Other than that, nothing they can do will help them.

The subject is: LSU Is Gonna Have Their Hands Full.....Yep a handful of rings when it is over.

Clemson has not seen a defense like LSU this year. Although OSU had a good defense they did not execute for 4 quarters against Clemson.

LSU's D has been slammed all year by the press. Its fake news. They are very physical, they are fast and will play a complete game.

They held Auburn to 14 points under their average too and they are #26 in scoring offense.

That’s a complete lie. Auburn’s offense isn’t #26 in PPG. LSU didn’t hold Auburn 14 under our total lol?

23 points is the only stat that matters. LSU averages 47.6 ppg so yes 23 is a shut down. Clemson has the blue print via Auburn. Georgia did too but not the DL to only rush 3. Clemson does and will win.

Clemson beat UNC barely, and they certainly didn’t runaway with OSU, so they aren’t invincible. If the OSU player doesn’t make a wrong turn, it might have been OSU in the NC. LSU’s defense is playing well, and has pretty much controlled opposing teams’ offenses over the last few games. OU was supposed to be a good offense, and I didn’t see much of a struggle defensively in that game. Divinity will also be back.

I don’t really see a coaching advantage. LSU’s offense has been unstoppable. They seen some of the best defenses in the country, with multiple schemes that have yet to really stop them. We know that Venables will blitz and blitz. So with two plus weeks to prepare, they will be ready. Same on defense. Aranda is still one of the best. He has seen what Clemson is likely to do and will be prepared.

I do think that Clemson will be the biggest test LSU has faced, but that is the way it should be. But the same is true for Clemson. They haven’t face a team like LSU.

The problem is they hadn’t seen Auburn’s defense in the defense they used in the LSU game. They still got 500+ yards. They didn’t score more in part because they didn’t take the FG. Now they have seen that scheme. That same scheme will not work twice against this offense. UGA and OU both rushed 3 and were slaughtered. Unless they have far better coverage in the backfield than anybody else, Burrow and his receivers will light them up, and I don’t think Clemson will have the best DBs LSU has seen.

Clemson's D-line gave up 174 yards on 9.7 ypc to a hobbled Dobbins. Hellaire will be good part of the game plan for the title game.

Auburn played a very good game and showed a defense that they had never shown all season. Burrow eventually adjusted though and has seen it now. Also, LSU is playing even better now since that Auburn game. I've seen both teams and I think LSU's offense is stronger than any defense out there. There is no weakness that I have seen. And LSU's defense is playing much better.

LSU hasn't really struggled vs good offenses in my opinion. What's happened is we got some pretty big first half leads and failed to maintain intensity for 4 quarters. No one is overlooking Clemson. They are defending champs and have almost the same team.

I guess you don't know your own team. I do believe cfbstats.com has Auburn listed here as being #26 in scoring offense at 34 ppg.

Same for NCAA.com too:

Plus opposing teams just have the ball for more snaps because we score so fast.
LSU gives up around 118 rushing yards per game at 3.60 per attempt .
Clemson gives up 112 rushing yards per game at 3.12 per attempt.

Clemson gives up 5.52 passing yards per attempt.
LSU gives up 6.42 passing yards per attempt.

Hey LSU May win I’m certainly just a fan and not an analyst but this best ever description sounds familiar to Clemson fans

Clemson also outclasses every team on their schedule and is motivated to win big because they need to absolutely destroy these garbage teams for the committee. Meanwhile, we just need to win football games.

How long did it take you to come up with that gay username? I actually used to like Clemson until Dabo refused to shut his whiny mouth about getting no respect and being an underdog all the time and interjecting God into a football game. If you want respect how about scheduling something harder than Wofford and Citadel, that’s just laughably pathetic. Now I can’t wait for Burrow to mash Dabo and Trevor Lawrence’s faces in. On second thought, mashing Lawrence’s face in could be an improvement on his ugly arse.

No they’re not. Clemson doesn’t have 4 first round draft pucks on their DL much less their defense. They’re offense while effective is not made to score at the same pace as LSUs and while not a normal LSU defense they’re a still enough athletes to get stops at key times during the game and allows their offense to score and build a lead.

Good thing LSU has the blueprint thanks to North Carolina who nearly pulled it off.

This team had been laser focused all year. I don’t see them underestimating a team who has won 29 straight and 2 out of last 3 national championships
