Anything can happen. Auburn game was on a sloppy field though and LSU has gotten better since that game.

LSU has had a close game with every good team they’ve played this year. I think LSU fans are just overhyped about beating UGA and Oklahoma, who both sucked this year.

Trevor Lawrence will be far and away the best QB you’ve faced this year. I would say Tua, but he was basically immobile in that game

LSU has a secondary that's as good as OSU so they'll negate a lot of the Clemson offense. And, LSU has a DL that's really fundamentally sound although they don't have gaudy sack numbers. On the flipside, the LSU offense is too much for Clemson. Clemson won't be able to match up with their LBs and secondary. And, LSU's OL will be able to blow Clemson's DL off the ball

Lawrence is good but is very overrated. He's not the elite passer the media makes him to be and once his WRs are hit in the mouth they fold.

I agree Clemson is not the best team LSU has faced. They beat a great Alabama offense and a much better Auburn defense than what Clemson has. Auburn just didn’t have the offense to compete and Alabama’s defense was putrid. Clemson doesn’t have as good an offense as Bama and their defense isn’t as good as Auburn’s. They do have a good red one defense but when LSUs scoring from 40 yards out it won’t matter.

Our offense will hang at least forty on Clemson in the Dome (indoors, fast track, ideal environment for LSU offense), and our defense (finally healthy) will get enough stops to keep the game out of reach. Not worried.

Can someone tell me the DB's on Clemsons D that can keep up?

Its not like we only have 1 deep threat.

I just dont see it and honestly, as far as Clemson's offense goes, its not the best we will have faced IMO.

Vandy, Ole Miss, Texas, whatever, our D is playing sound right now. Worst time to catch us.

Noone can fricking stop us.

This isn't last years Clemson team. Not even close. LSU will roll.

LSU’s defense has struggled vs good offenses

Pretty sure OU offense was top 5 in the country. Held their offense to the worst passing performance in 4 seasons

Took care of that one pretty handily

All I’m gonna say is that Trevor Lawrence is not being given enough respect. Great QBs always rise up in big games.

Clemson has a better defense than LSU
LSU probably has a better offense than Clemson

I’d put the O/U at 75. Last one with the ball wins

Was it you who started the EXACT same thread five times this year?

If so I hope you saved it in Word to find/replaced the team name for efficiency.

OU was a joke.

Btw remember when Alabama slaughtered OU with Kyler Murray, only to get a dose of reality vs Clemson?

I’m telling you, don’t underestimate Dabo and Trevor Lawrence.

actually rooting for LSU, but I think Tiger fans are really underestimating Clemson. For starters, LSU has already played 4 close games this year. It’s not like they’ve blown everyone out. Clemson will definitely be the best team they’ve faced all year. Trevor Lawrence is a monster. LSU’s defense has struggled vs good offenses, and Clemson’s will be the best one they’ve seen since Alabama. Clemson also has a pretty good defense. At least good enough to get some stops To top it off, Clemson has a coaching advantage in this game. As great as Joe Brady is, he doesn’t outweigh Dabo and Venebles It’s gonna be a slugfest

And this is an option I can respect, unlike the Boared idiotic shite.

You are correct in your assessment and I guess we will see just how good this team is or isn’t.

This was a fair assessment and not a troll to induce a negative response and emotional retort. We can discuss post like this and , even though I am as guilty as anyone of saying trolling shite, this is the kind of post that induce discussion and not flaming cut-low wars. Good post.

I was more concerned with playing tOSU. They match LSU better physically and at the skill positions.

If Dobbins doesn't roll his ankle OSU wins going away last night. OSU made mental mistakes that let Clemson back in the game.

Clemson's DBs and LBs can't match LSU's skill players and they can't bring pressure with just 4. Blitz and Burrow will hurt you. Drop coverage and he will buy time until our elite WRs break open.

Defensively we will give up plays, but we will focus on containing Etienne and keeping Lawrence in the pocket. We have enough DB talent to match Clemson's WRs. Lawrence wasn't exactly sharp last night (54.5% compl).

LSU has been good about not beating themselves this season and if they play sound football they will win.

Ohio State gave the game away basically. I give Clemson credit for not folding, but they can't keep up with us on the scoreboard.

Yeah, and we’re actually rooting for Bama in that Shitrus Bowl ...

But you think ... See that’s your problem!

You can’t think! If you could really think you wouldn’t have posted this horse crap ...

Quit dickriding the Team that killed your Dynasty and signaled the end ... Allowing LSU to beat that azz and AU to follow ...

You’re suited to THINK Shitrus Bowl and all the trimmings related to that ...

Stay outta big boy FB discussions until your Team beats a ranked team after that Clemson boat race

Y'all already forgetting how Dobbins was able to run on Clemson. LSU has 3-4 guys on Dobbins level. I'm not even talking about Burrow and the WRs.

First intelligent response so far. Good luck in the game
