LSU has more sacks than UGA. What does that mean for Burrow?

And yet, despite how bad LSU's pass rush is, it's inexplicably better by the numbers than UGA’s.

To the OP, UGA has allowed 9 sacks all season, yet Fromm only has enough dimes to by himself a pack of juicy fruit.

Auburn holding that offense to only 23 in the rain was a hell of a job.

Auburn also horse collared Chase with the ball in flight without a PI call on a throw to the endzone. So when people say Auburn did this or that... I always rely on what I actually saw happen and say..... wellllllll, did they though?

Sloppy field conditions and we ran a very vanilla form of our offense.

LSU absolutely had to change what they do because Auburn took away the middle of the field with that stacked LB/S scheme. Steele had a brilliant plan. However, if UGA plans to get into this type of game it will end 32-20. LSU left 9 easy points on the filed on 3 drives:

1- LSU punted from the AU 34 because York had the yips at the time. Kid has been nails since. That's 3pts.

1- LSU went for a 4th and 1 from the AU 29 for the same reason. That's another 3pts.

1 - LSU tried a 4th and 1 from the AU 1 and failed. That'll be another 3pts.

Let's get into this type of game and LSU still puts up 30+ and wins by 12.

He'll make some good passes, that's for sure. The issue may be whether he will make enough good passes.

UGA has a pass rush?

Don't make Joe scramble...you wouldn't like him, when he scrambles.

Auburn held you to 23, so I guess you did play a good defense

Auburn played really good situational football. The next week lsu scored 46. That is more of an outlier this year than a norm.

You are correct. Fromm threw several dimes straight to the South Carolina DB's!

I didn't know there was a chance of rain inside MBS this weekend.

Even if LSU struggles to get pressure and Fromm avoids turning the ball over, UGA wont be able to outscore the LSU offense. Your defense has yet to face a good offense this season, and Burrow is way better than any QB you have faced. Ian Book is probably the best QB Georgia faced this season.

And all I've been hearing is that UGA's defensive front penetration is miles ahead of LSU's

So to recap,
LSU is ranked #37 in the nation in sacks
UGA is ranked #63 in the nation in sacks

And LSU has played significantly better offenses than the one we face this Saturday

So LSU has a better pass rush than....oh frick it, nvm
UGA CAN'T LOSE!

Also, while we're at it (since we're talking about the defenses getting in the back field, I'm posting tackles for loss stats as well

LSU is ranked #33 in TFLs
UGA is ranked #84 in TFLs

Yeah, people don't realize the impact that Cordale Flott, Jay Ward, Marcel Brooks, and Maurice Hampton have had on this defense.

It takes true freshmen a while to understand what they are supposed to be doing, and these guys get it now and are having an impact, and it's changed the options that Dave Aranda can dial up.
