UF would be a laughingstock if they evacuate their campus and require the football team to stay

This is also a big question. shite's crazy.

The Falcons are away this week. Why not just play at the Georgia Dome?

I hope we don't have another cancelled game because of this.

Why not be sure and move it elsewhere.. would be horrible if it's cancelled due to travel safety concerns. Come on Florida.

This is one of the dumbest decisions I have ever seen made by supposedly educated people.

The insane part of all of this...... UF is now officially closed on Friday. Travel safe everyone that is coming to coming to the game.

So they really are retarded.

"Guys, it's too dangerous to have our students here, they need to be sent somewhere safer to ride out the storm. But keep the football team and staff here, it'll make great 30 for 30 when the building falls on them."

I'm just mad because I don't want the game to be cancelled. We already had to cancel a cupcake game last year, I don't want to lose another one this year.

I mean if LSU had class they'd offer to host this game and flip the 2017 game to Gainesville-- that's a classy gesture, trying to take advantage of a storm to finagle an extra home game-- that's not too classy.

LSU offered for the safety of the fans and players, which clearly UF doesn't care about. Why should LSU forego a sell out next year and foot the expenses this year, too? Sorry UF, we tried to help, but you'll have to own the cancellation we're headed toward.

If UF was smart, it would opt for a neutral site game rather than being hard headed and opting for the likely cancelled game.

Why are LSU fans melting so hard on this one?

The worst hurricane that has hit Gainesville since the 80's came through in 2004, and the only issue was downed trees and some neighborhoods without power.

Gainevsille doesn't flood. The wind will be gone by Saturday morning, and by wind I mean the MAYBE tropical storm force gusts we get.

UF basically gave us working stiffs a free day off.

See you Saturday.

Gonna risk possibly losing the e tire game because Florida acting like bitches.

I don't care where it's played and certainly not afraid of the swamp that won't even be st full attendance now.. I just don't want to risk losing out yet another season game! There's only so many

Play it in Georgia or anywhere if you are scared to come to BR

We just don't want to get the game cancelled which is exactly the risk UF is taking

As far as I've seen they just cancelled classes, no one has been told to evacuate campus.

Is there any prohibitive reason why the game can't be moved to Sunday?

LOL, so a student can't walk across campus for academics, but tens of thousands of people are encouraged to descend upon that same campus for football?

Yeah, UF, you aren't looking too bright right now.

So air travel for LSU's crew should be just fine trying to get into G'ville on Friday, right?

They cancelled classes for that tropical storm that came through earlier this year too. There was like no wind, and some rain. It was sunny and wonderful out most of that day that stuff was cancelled.

Yes. The fact that a category 4 will have just swept through 2 days before, leaving the majority of the area without any power
