Hey. Mine is at least 48, and my mama says it's probably at least 50

Just knowing we aren’t a bottom dwelling university like r Kansas is a good enough feeling

BK did actually leave the cupboard for the coming year pretty bare.
BK also has a much better career winning percentage than Kiffin and he got canned at LSU.

We got that same four home five away schedule. Half the teams get it. Not just LSU.

For year 1 8 or 9 wins would be OK as long as there are positive signs. But I haven't gloated.
You are wrong in that BK absolutely left the cupboard bare. No QB's, no OLine starters, needed to get all new wide receivers, etc. Offense was left with 2 running backs and a tight end.

Correct. He went all in last year on the guys with one year remaining because he had a senior quarterback. It backfired bad and now another coach has to try to fill in the gaps not only for this year, but going forward as well.

Kelly inherited Orgeron’s disaster and turned it around in his first year. Won the SECW and 10 games, without the virtually unlimited NIL budget handed to Kiffin.

8-4 or worse would be pretty bad, yeah.
Even in year 1, the roster looks worthy of 10+ wins and a CFP appearance if the players gel together as a team and the staff gets their system reasonably well implemented.
Unfortunately the schedule is extremely sketchy lol... Bama, Texas, and A&M all recently made the playoffs and have established themselves, and virtually every other SEC game has a new staff that plausibly could do well.
Honestly even if we flop year 1 and go 8-4 or worse, unless it's some catastrophic 4-8 type of year, I wouldn't be worried. But 8 wins or worse would definitely be a failure. 9-3 would suck since it means we likely just barely miss the playoff (see 2025 Texas), but acceptable. 10+ wins and a CFP appearance should be the goal.

LSU is likely spending $20M+ on staff and $40M on their roster this year, which probably is as much if not more than any other team in the country. They have a right to expect at least 10-2 or 11-1. Anything less would be a pisser.

It’s just football my man. Hopefully none of you feel shame over a game.

Disappointed if we miss the playoffs.

anything less than 10-2 and a playoff appearance next season and things get awkward
Expectations have fallen hard in Baton Rouge if this isn't realistic
Cignetti lost to ND and OSU and that was it his first year and is in the NCG and 15-0 right now in his second year. Do you think Cignetti and Indiana have better talent than LSU? Oh yea and has been proven the last 3 years, the B1G is harder than the SEC
