He is likely gone. The result of this game won't change anything either way. But you constantly harping on it and even wishing evil on the football team to get rid of McMahon is ridiculous.

Plus Wade knows he would be backing himself into a corner if he went back to LSU. He is getting an upgraded contract (reportedly) at NC State and I see no reason why he wouldn't take it.

He has had some success in year 1 at NC State, where he has more NIL and fan support. Why would he come back to LSU?
Hell of a game for MacKinnon! This is the type of game that will draw some eyes from NBA scouts for a g league contract.

Yeah.
One thing I want to see in a new coach: Playlist a full roster. Doesn't have to be every game, but play at least 10 most nights. Competition helps. And you cant have that if you don't give opportunities. And for all the Wade Brigade, he was pretty bad at that too.

You have to rest him sometime. Looks like he is still hot after a brief rest, so all is OK. Need someone else (Sutton?) to step up.
If the new coach can keep the underclassmen, he will have a solid base.

We're - I am - tired of the excuses. The rope is long gone.
Year 1 was valid excuses in that he couldn't get transfers due to the Letter.
Year 2 was a decent recovery, despite Cook.
Year 3 the lack of NIL support really failed the team.
Year 4 the injury to DTJ exposed the pg depth.
Bottom line, life ain't fair, especially when you are making millions.
