Starters all in with a 60 point lead with a minute left.

And yes, the floor looks really bad on TV.
117 - 59 with a minute left and all the starters still in.

They should have asked Landry to make a cameo parking the car.

His goofy arse would have probably done it.
Shoot. Landry would just start hanging around set every day and never get back to Baton Rouge. Wait. You might be on to something...

Cam Williams seems to have earned some minutes.
But if the court rules in Kelly's favor then LSU will be obligated to pay him under the terms of the contract for being fired without cause.

Once that happens, if LSU doesn't negotiate an alternative and fails to pay, it is a real easy case before the court to order payments.

He was offered $25 million on the morning he was fired. They called later that day to offer $30 million. If that doesn't start a "clock" for negotiations, I don't know what does.

To me this shows how dumb Scott was in negotiating. I don't know what coach would accept a buyout in the same meeting they were fired without talking to a lawyer and their agent. Yet they call up a few hours later to up the offer when he didn't have enough time to react to the 1st offer.

Your post did not say "effectively requesting a money judgment" - your post said that a declaratory judgment would be "effectively a money judgment" and then completely implodes on itself by continuing to say that the "effective money judgment" was still being actively negotiated - well which is it brainiac? a judgment or a negotiation - stay with the amateurs
In simple terms, the lawsuit is asking for a determination that he was fired without cause and therefore is entitled to the full "liquidated damages" under the contract.

Are you trying to argue that it doesn't?

Unless there is an injury, why would we need more than 2 legit PGs.
I know. So silly of me. Injuries never happen.

It's not defamation. The statement has to be made to the public. If LSU officials made suggestions that they may have cause to fire BK under the terms of the contract during private settlement negotiations, that's not defamation. Not even
One could argue that making that claim would inevitably lead to the lawsuit which makes it public.

Even if you don't agree with that, their response to the lawsuit will assuredly be public. At that point they claim to have cause or not.
MacKinnon was guarded tight early (due to game 1) so he deferred to Sutton who torched UNO. Never got into a rhythm after that, but contributed in other ways.

Tamba is like a bigger more athletic Dji Bailey. Hustles and is unafraid to drive inside. Haven't seen him shoot the 3 so he might not be good, but to his credit he isn't trying them and doesn't need to on this team.

The only weakness I see is that we only have 2 legit point guards like Wade had in his last year. I wonder if Zipper can play the point if needed.
All he needs to show is that a single AD turned him down over concern for the "termination for cause".

On the same lines, wasn't the deal that we owed the OC a full buyout if he was fired before Kelly, but we didn't owe it because we fired Kelly 1st? Could he come back demanding a full buyout because of LSU's statements?
LSU is going to wind up paying Kelly more than $53 million.

Anyone know why we have never seen Gilhool play?
Bobbett played. At this point I have to assume the plan is to redshirt him unless he makes great strides. Wish the NCAA would allow players to play a limited number of games and still redshirt like football.

You, I, and several others in this thread should be glad we aren't.

And we should I ld feel sorry for those who are. Even if you don't lose your shirt it takes a lot of fun out of watching.
King has played well as a backup shooting guard. Reed is looking better in the 2nd half. Way ahead of schedule.

And as mentioned, here comes Zipper and Mosely.
Even Reece is playing well as a true freshman at point guard. Better than Givens was last year.
Easy to see what Reed can be when healthy and confident.
Good finish to the half. Got cold on offense for a bit.

New Orleans will dominate their conference.
