I wondered about his knee too, but I don’t think he makes that TD run if it’s anything really bad

Best I’ve seen since Montana at ND. Just knows where everyone is supposed to be. Going back in 1 play after getting absolutely blasted showed his toughness, too. Y’all got a good one.

BTW, We would trade you Ensminger and O, plus a 1st round draft choice in 2022 for him... let us know

I hope the saints draft him in two years assuming his knee holds up

Where did everyone pick this up from?

Y'all would have a field day if y'all saw Tua's little YouTube series. He said his preacher told him to go to Alabama and he was like, ok.

Well that's any QB. Thing is that if he has a bad result, he doesn't let it phase him...he just goes back slinging.

Ed Zackery....JMO but #13 played against the best group of athletic DB's that he will see this year...Period. There were some open Bama receivers but nothing like what we've seen before playing LSU.

He has what a lot of great passers have, Superior mechanics, an incredible balance. Like Brees his body stays on a spring so he can immediately throw to a spot correctly, his feet are set, his back is straight, his follow through is perfect. Kind of like a great three point shooter. Enjoy him, because you won't get another like him for a long time. He's freakishly sound, again like Brees.

He said something along those lines during the Gameday segment, I believe. He was asked why he chose Bama, and he answered that his parents (dad) wanted him to go to Bama and that their culture basically demands he respect their wishes.

It wasn't like he said his dad forced him to attend Bama or anything. More like his family thought Bama was the best option and he agreed.

It was on Gameday when Herbstriet had a segment on him. He said, in his culture, the parents make the decisions. Tua said his dad chose Alabama and he respected that decision and comitted.

Pretty great QB. Does everything well. My only criticism is that he had about 3-4 plays where he went fully Johnny Football and just throws it up dangerously. Like JFF though, his receivers are good enough to bail him out usually.

Again, it’s a minor criticism of an overall great player, but he easily could have had another pick by Phillips (hit him in his chest) and another on the third-and-long he completed with the wild running throw to a covered receiver (just threw it up like Manziel to Evans).

I’m sure Saban will dial that back and he’ll be a robot with Peyton Manning’ brain, Vick’s legs and Elway’s arm next year.

Game day interview. Said his Dad picked his school for him. Cultural thing.

He's good, at football at least. Accurate, laser when needed. Good at knowing his options, and the timing. Gary pointed out he needs to learn to throw it away soon, that's a fair criticism. He seemed to launch a few random ones last night.

To be honest, your secondary is damn good. Only time Tua has looked mortal this year was this game

I agree the DBs were on. Tua on multiple occasions looked like he was in the box for minutes with the protection he was getting but yet their DBs had everyone shut down.
