The whole world knew it was coming. The best time to capitalize was early before they were soaking wet and that leg technique on the D'arce was devastating. Happiest I've been to root for a scouser.

Your opinions make a lot of sense now.

re: Mbappe or Haaland: Who's better?

I'll take Haaland at 9 and Mbappe at LW. Two very different skill sets.

If I'm picking one for my team it's Haaland.
What a clear by Jude oh my god
It was absolutely a dive. Dude got parallel to the ground in .1 second.
Its always poppin on the Mundo. I feel bad for those that paid to watch on Fox.
I upvoted. You totally convinced me.

it’s just that this GD fricking VAR has ruined it all.

Maybe it's just me but getting offside calls right is the best part of VAR...it's cut and dry with modern technology.

This BS where refs let shite go and let VAR officiate the game is where it frustrates me.

No it wouldn’t - that would be like QBs throwing Hail Marys every play. There would be little sense in bombing soccer passes down the field for 50/50 balls. Moving it downfield in a controlled manner most of the time would still be the more successful strategy - just like football (real football).

Is this where you go full retard and pretend you were trolling the whole time?
Same. I follow LSU sports but otherwise could not care less about football, basketball, or any other sport at large.

I watch soccer whenever I can.

I’ve shot down the cherry picking argument.

No you didn't, it's just so obtuse nobody has bothered to respond. You clearly don't watch soccer and understand the chaos that follows long passes and second balls. That's fine...you are an American after all with options!
You complain about the offside rule and say it keeps players from using their speed and athleticism when the rule literally promotes having speed and athleticism up front for counterattacks. Teams would each keep half their team in each penalty box and kick the ball from end to end without the rule, so being tall would be way better than being athletic.
He doesn't understand he is contradicting himself and it is hilarious.

He’s not allowed to outrun the defender and break free to receive a pass. Then WTF is the point of speed & athleticism?

For frick's sake
Your proposal wouldn't fix anything, it would just move the line. There would still be close calls and VAR reviews.

Offside is fine the way it is. It's clear cut and leaves no room for argument with modern technology and there are much easier targets for bitching if you are trying to hate soccer.
