All this came out close to a year ago. Nadda from the NCAA as there was no NCAA rules violations. I realize that Miss. is a bit behind the times but a year behind?

Maybe if you read the article you would find out his family didnt receive any money before or while he was at LSU. Therefore, no NCAA violation was committed there.
IT's pretty simple here, the NCAA only cares what impermissible benefits are given to scholarship athletes or their families before or during their time at said school. They dont give a shite what happens after they leave school for obvious reasons.
You people always come into these threads repeating bullshite you read on the Tiger Rant, and then accuse people of not reading the article...
Here you go...

The Baton Rouge Business Report reported in June that Funes sent the money to James Alexander when his son was still playing for the Tigers, which might be a violation of NCAA rules regarding impermissible benefits.
According its 2017 federal tax return, Our Lady of the Lake Foundation made a $15,000 grant to the Tiger Booster Clubs, which supports LSU athletics.
In a previous statement, LSU senior associate athletics director Robert Munson said LSU "was made aware of specific allegations by OLOL officials in late 2018 and made the information immediately available to the NCAA. As this is an ongoing inquiry, LSU will have no further comment."

So you make a post about something you obviously know nothing about. You probably read a quarter of a bias story then quit, like your team tends to do.
You should also learn to spell.

Well if you wanted to give full context instead of trolling, you'd mention that the LSU families he "gave" money to were former players, not recruits. He used his status as a booster to find gullible families to be patsies in his scheme. "Here you accept this medical donation, hold it for a while, and give the majority back to me; in return keep X amount for your troubles."
Luckily, LSU recruits high character players from good families, and only a couple fell for it, one from the Saban days by the way.

At this point it looks like this is just regular money laundering rather than some scheme to pay players.
1 active players dad and 1 former players family amongst dozens of people with money allegedly going back to the guy.
How many players getting paid under the table give money back to the booster?
