Vadal Alexander's family got $180k.

How much did Vadal's dad give back to Funes? How many pay for play schemes have you heard of that have the booster receive money back?

It’s amazing to me the lack of common sense you and others have when it involves rival teams.

Think about this logically. You actually believe this person set up an elaborate money laundering scheme, risking real prison time, all to help land a single recruit? Or do you think he set up an elaborate money laundering scheme to give all of the money away to many recruits?

Or, and I’m just spit balling here, he set up an elaborate money laundering scheme in order to make himself rich?

Not really sure his intentions matter that much in terms of the NCAA (but IMO they should) -- a scholarship athlete's family still received illicit money, which could make him ineligible, which could lead to sanctions for LSU.

ETA: I hope LSU doesn't get sanctions, but we know the NCAA does not necessarily follow common sense.

Rohan Dave’s admits his family is part of it.

Yes, and Rohan Davey hasn’t been a football player in nearly 20 years. Why are all my Ole Miss friends obsessed with a story where dude used former players and their families to launder money? dude is a shithead and is going to prison where he belongs. End of story

like the 2 Burrow threw Saturday nite? Against a shell of the defense Ole Miss had in 2015? shite. The whole conference is down now, compared to 2015. That Rebel team would have fricked the 2019 Tigers till u loved us...just like they did the 2015 LSU team with Fournette. like a drum

On October 4, 2014, the 11th-ranked Ole Miss Rebels hosted the 3rd-ranked Alabama Crimson Tide in Oxford, Mississippi. Head coach Hugh Freeze and the Rebels would rally from a 14-3 halftime deficit to defeat Nick Saban’s team by the final score of 23-17. Fans stormed the field, the goalposts were torn down and carried around town, and Ole Miss would climb to No. 3 in the AP Poll the following week, their highest mark since 1964.

Well, after finally receiving the final sanctions from Ole Miss’ ugly NCAA scandal involving former players and coaches, including Houston Nutt and Hugh Freeze, that massive Alabama win, as well 32 others between 2010 and 2016, apparently never happened and have been vacated by the NCAA, according to Rebel Grove.

The Ole Miss scandal involved multiple allegations that included recruits receiving thousands of dollars from University of Mississippi football boosters, getting free merchandise from Rebel Rags, assistant coaches fixing ACT scores to help football recruits become eligible, as well as several others that led to the NCAA dropping the hammer on the program.

The article that you posted from ESPN. Clearly stated parents. The parents were supposedly paid. Not football players.
