Open and honest discussion is that this looks at least initially like plan and simple
Non-football relates crime.
This guy was using dozens of people
To help launder money.
A couple of them he likely met through LSU football, and 1 had a child still on the team. But he wasn’t just pumping money to recruits.
Plus 180k for a 4 star guard just feels
High.

Thank you, that's what I suspected. But could LSU still get in trouble because Alexander was still on the team? Even if it was really, say, $50k?
I'd guess the NCAA would need a little more to go on than just one witness of questionable character, so at the least I'd think they'd need some form of corroboration.

Honestly, I don’t know.
I think Because this guy was involved with so many people and only 1 of them was the parent of an active player it will be seen more as just a players parent involved in a crime
than a crime that funded a violation.

Makes sense. But who knows with the NCAA. Hope nothing comes of it from the NCAA side, if it really was just the Dad being a criminal.

When the payments started will be another factor.
You generally don’t start paying recruits their sophmore year.

I'd guess that will change with the transfer portal, but yeah, that makes sense.

I'd assume that's part of why it's an "ongoing inquiry".

Agreed, the OP definitely missed important info, and was lazy and trolly.

You definitely can, it’s more of the totality of the evidence
If money is going back to the booster
If the payments started after Alexander was already on the team
What the guy admits to (I think He is pleading guilty)
Etc...

Weird post-game melt, but whatever. Let's work on that reading comprehension instead.

What about Vadal Alexander's family? Alexander was a current player, at the time his folks got paid.
Touche. Definitely not a good look, but at least it's clear it wasn't to get him on campus. I was told directly from a separate booster that there's nothing to worry about. This came from a guy who was very close to the Saban and Miles families (I seen the pictures in his office).

You should pass this info on to LSU, as they refused to comment due to an ongoing investigation.
That comment was from earlier this year, hence "from a previous statement". Havent heard anything since, and again, this was brought to NCAA attention a year ago now.

Meh, if you want to compete with the big boys, learn to play the game.
If you don't think Ole Miss is trying to play the game, your delusional.

Just like the liberal media of this country, you spread false information, or at least distort the information to conform to your agenda.
Tell me where you see evidence he admitted to paying off LSU football players?
Next time, try reporting facts.
