LSU estimate worth to the SEC’s television product versus the roughly equal amount LSU receives from SEC media rights.
LSU’s annual football media value: roughly $80–110 million
LSU’s current football-related share: about $32.7 million
$18.6 million listed as football media rights
$14.1 million in conference distributions
Estimated gap: approximately $47–77 million per year
LSU sacrifices its own budget, running a deficit to fund your team

Can we stop talking about this? 94% of Power Schools carry a deficit.
UCLA is carrying a $240M deficit over multiple years. (30-50 last year).
A lot of B1G schools in there.

I am familiar with annual revenue.
Annual profits/losses.
I can't recall ever seeing any organization with an annual value (and the term value automatically makes me think that they are for sale)

Louisiana legislature is telling their colleges they need to drop down a level in football to save money due to these big deficits. LSU down to G6. G6 schools back to FCS etc...

Notre Dame says to come on over. Make it to the payoffs by playing Purdue, Syracuse, Wake Forest, Illinois, Cincinnati, and a few ok games and get worshipped by the pollsters and waltz into the CFP.
