Only 3 schools that are not losing money based on your crazy formula and those are MSU who are + $2.7 to $12.7 milion, Mizzu who are the same as state and Vandy who are +$17.7M to $22.7 M

(Note: Total SEC conference payout averages $72.4 million per school, which includes distributions for basketball, baseball, and NCAA tournament credits. The "Current SEC Football Share" above isolates strictly the baseline TV/postseason media allocation directly generated by and attributed to the sport of football on institutional reports

How much of that is having all their sports teams flying to the other side of the country every other week.

IDK but why wouldn't Oregon/Washington/USC have the same level of deficit if it was that reason?

Louisiana legislature is telling their colleges they need to drop down a level in football to save money due to these big deficits. LSU down to G6. G6 schools back to FCS etc...

We’d still beat your sorry asses

LSU estimate worth to the SEC’s television product versus the roughly equal amount LSU receives from SEC media rights.

LSU’s annual football media value: roughly $80–110 million
LSU’s current football-related share: about $32.7 million
$18.6 million listed as football media rights
$14.1 million in conference distributions
Estimated gap: approximately $47–77 million per year

LSU sacrifices its own budget, running a deficit to fund your team

Apparently media money agreed with us.
To bad we have to share over 50% of our media value with weak bloods in SEC.

We make their juco budget balance by sacrificing ours.

As I said in another post, it’s not hard for LSU to be up there when literally every person in Louisiana supports them, even at the expense of the other schools they graduated from. Everyone jumps on the purple and gold bandwagon. Very few people actually support the other D1 schools in Louisiana

Go independent. The conference would move on, I promise.

What a idiotic metric.

Hey,you can always take your chances on the open market and become independent.

Good luck with scheduling and your new TV contract.

That's one hell of a cope when everyone (including you) knows LSU is broke as a joke.

And yet, here we are with $50million roster, $13 million to Lane, $11.5 to assistant coaches, on and on.
And we have the Tiger Athletic Foundation to make up the revenue we lose carrying AR, Sc, Vand, Msst, Mizz with out outsized share of media value.

You are welcome.

We have the Tiger Athletic Foundation.
Where is the HOG Athletic foundation, or the Mizz Athletic foundation?

We are the SEC Athletic foundation
