It was hilarious and fun to laugh at and about. I'm guessing he's laughing about it too considering the kind of guy he is.
I don't think anybody hates the guy for it or anything (well, nobody sane) - but come on, the irony of that speech and then 48 hours later the same fanbase is trying to fire their coach is pretty good shite. Because what he said about Alabama is absolutely true........but it's also true about pretty much every other SEC fanbase, especially those of us who legitimately compete at the highest level.
That's why we're all laughing about it.
