The Fed needs to get off their asses and do something. All this political posturing is just making this problem worse. I'm not even calling for rates to be cut massively, but a FFR at 4.5% when inflation is slowing makes no sense. Drop them to 3%

Pointless thread, but I have no idea why anyone would be buying options right now with the IV sky high and premiums juiced like this. If you have a ton of shares in something, selling covered calls might be a smart idea right now.

Relief rally for the time being.. I blew a smaller account up during covid buying puts on days like Friday. Some of the most monster face ripping rallies I've ever seen and they all went against me.
I still think we likely go lower unless we get some certainty on these tariffs.

This shite is so dumb and you have tons of people on the right trying to spin it, saying that average normal working class people don't have any connection to the stock market and that is just obviously not true. Even if you were going to work on the trade imbalances, this is not the correct way to go about it.
