Yes, he’s a great guy. I was sitting with friends at Antone’s blues club on Guadalupe St. in Austin back in the day. I happened to look over at the table right next to me, and there was Earl, dressed in jeans, boots, and a cowboy hat. I remember that he was not that tall, but had huge thighs…

I grew up hating the Longhorns back in the 70s and 80s but I loved Earl Campbell . He was a true badass.

Earl Campbell was a great football player and is a good man. I met him once in an HEB in Victoria Texas. Real down to earth guy.

Campbell and Sims collaborate with their food products I’ve seen in various places. All great food. This was a limited time feature at Billy Sims BBQ.

Nice! He was really just before my time but I've always loved watching highlights of him. To me he was much much more athletic and tough than guys like Jerome Bettis.
