Yeah that's ridiculous.
Arkansas and Vanderbilt are locks for national Top 8 seeds.
Right now, it looks like State and Georgia will be a national seed as well. Georgia has less room for error because of getting swept by State, but will host a regional nonetheless. Remember that State has wins against Texas Tech and ECU as well.
Ole Miss will host a 9-16 regional. LSU can as well, but has to win their last two series, including at Arkansas.
National Seeds:
1. UCLA
2. Vanderbilt
3. Arkansas
4. Louisville
5. Mississippi State
6. Texas Tech
7. Georgia Tech
8. Georgia
Other hosts
9. East Carolina
10. Oregon State
11. Miami
12. North Carolina
13. Ole Miss
14. Stanford
15. UCSB
16. LSU
Other Potential Hosts:
Baylor, West Virginia, Oklahoma State (Big 12)
NC State (ACC)
Indiana, Michigan (Big Ten)

If we play our Super Regional in Louisville, I'm going to show my arse.

Lets say Auburn goes 4-2 over the next two weekends with UGA and @LSU. With an RPI of 15 at the moment, that would assuredly get better. AU could possibly get into the host discussion as well. Honestly, though, I could see AU getting the "1 seed at another site" treatment if that happens.

That really isn't that far fetched. If Hancock is out for UGA and Burns and Owen both pitch for Auburn, Auburn should win 2/3 at home. LSU has so many injuries and lack of LHP that while not likely Auburn could send a bunch of lefties to the plate and do some damage in red stick.
I see Auburn winning 2/3 vs UGA and 1/3 at LSU. 15-15 in conference probably has us a high #2 seed in a 9-16 regional. Although making it to the championship game in the SEC tournament could push us to hosting.

And the non-conference win against Ole Miss as well.

we take one in oxford I will be stoked. I think our day to win is friday. Ole Miss struggles against lefties and Ethan Small is on another planet right now
Our starting pitching as a whole is on fire right now. Even Plumlee has been very good his past couple starts. And Liebelt and White have been reliable out of the bullpen

A&M won’t host. They will be a two seed in Austin or Lubbock. More losses coming down the stretch
In Austin? No.

This might be the most quality thread we have had on the rant in quite some time. Mostly all informative discussion, with very little crap talking, although it threatened to get sideways at least once...I kinda wish more threads like this could develop....please carry on. (queue the 'youre a cuck' comment in 3...2...1)

I’m not replying back to the guy. Im entitled to my opinion. Also don’t like jinxing my own team before a game. I said months ago whoever lost the Gov. Cup would win 2/3

Winning a series on the road is incredibly tough on the road, so I agree with your “stoked” comment. The crowd and atmosphere will be on our side this weekend, but state is a really good team. In OM’s quest to get 3 more wins, I’d be stoked to get 1 this weekend and 2 next week at Tenn (but again winning a series on the road is tough)
Would love to get 2 this weekend and 1 or 2 next week. But who knows

Exactly. Our fanbase acts like because we are a top 5 team that top 15 road wins will fall in our laps
