Just - for anyone giving me the "lecture" about officiating - Google Kentucky and Georgia this weekend. Zip through to 13:27 in the fourth quarter. Then tell me - after watching a replay - how that was a first down.

Then tell me how this game isn't either slightly rigged - or just out of control.

I don't have to look to say the call was bad. I used to look at Auburn calls through Alabama glasses, as if the conference was out to get us, but realized that the SEC officials are just bad at their jobs, not biased. They suck. If they worked for me I'd fire them.

I think it’s a combination of incompetence and more importantly, I do believe they try to protect the conference’s bid for a playoff spot.

I think they explained it away as stopping forward progress.

If this is true, Arkansas has 3 fumbles back this year. All 3 the RB had been stopped of forward momentum and a defense player rips the ball out.

Florida —0 penalties. None. Na da

Coming into the game they were the MOST penalized team in the league. Guess they all of a sudden cleaned up their play.
LSU penalized 5 times. One called back a TD. Another called back a 40 plus td run. Another a first down on the very next play.

That’s on par with Vegas hookers so that’s about right for paying people to screw with you for 3 hours. I’m not sure though so somebody call up Freeze and ask him for the going rate.

Seriously though you get what you pay for so if you pay them like whores then you are going to get whores.

“They said the ball carrier was picked up which meant it couldn’t be a fumble.” Sam Pittman on what the refs told him

Exactly why it was the correct call. The IT spot looked correct.

The TV announcers set the narrative.

I agree that the call was right. Earlier in the game, however, the refs overlooked a holding call on UT & only called the hands to the face on Ole Miss. Jordan Rodgers clearly saw the holding call in the booth, yet the refs let it slide, giving UT a 1st down. UT still had every opportunity to win the game, yet didn’t get it done. Their fans acted classless & took out their unfounded frustrations on the Rebel players who weren’t responsible for the call. SEC officiating is terrible at times & appears at times to be biased. That shouldn’t be tolerated. The Arkansas/Ole Miss game had some bad officiating. Twice Corral was hit after sliding, but the refs never called it, even when the officials were looking right at it.

SEC Officiating sucks. Even though I couldn't do it any better.

Can't pass the test, can't pass the physical .....

And yes, I can pull an engine and rebuild it as well. Anything else?

On a sweep to your side you first retreat away from the LOS.

That prevents you from being run over, so you can make a call .... Proved my point ..Thank You.

Will everyone please acknowledge bluedragon has done some refereeing at some point in his life. I bet you never criticized gus or Jeremy Johnson even though you've never coached a game or been close to the level athlete johnson was.

They didn’t explain it at all other than “confirmed.” I don’t think forward progress is reviewable, so that can’t be “confirmed.” One ref on the field threw his bean bag, and zero refs blew the whistle.

Replay tries its best to side with the call on the field. The call on the field doesn’t need to be conveyed to replay officials.

How would they know exactly what's being reviewed though in some cases? They have to know where to start, at least.

And I get what you're saying...but, they still need a place to start looking at a call/play in question. Otherwise replay takes even longer and it gets bad already at times.

The late game phantom PI on an uncatchable ball kept Auburn alive and gave them 7 points.

If you're gonna bitch about blown calls (it was a bad call) get it right.

Auburn didn't score a TD there. Went 3 and out and kicked a FG.

Negative, the touchdown reversal is why they were upset. It was an idiotic ruling the ref couldn’t even explain

I’m not sure why there aren’t advanced analytics on officiating. How many and what types of penalties do certain officiating crews call? How many killed or sustained drives? How many and what was called in close games versus games that are out of hand?

The SEC obviously wants to avoid the spotlight on officiating but it’s past time someone put together some hard data to call them out.
