No. The only thing that would have come out of it would be a first half suspension against UK.
For the record I think it was targeting but I also thought Roydell got targeted on a 4Th qtr carry from the side as the LSU player lowered his head into the side of Roydells head but..

Chillmonster, let's revisit this when he does the same thing to your quarterback if they make it to the SEC championship game. The point is he has a pattern of doing this to quarterbacks and until he's suspended (because we all know Saban will allow this to continue) by the conference it will happen again!!

People keep saying this as if LSU fans thought we would.
No LSU fan thinks we win if Turner is ejected. There are more threads on the rant talking about our shitty defense than the missed call on this penalty.
The reason we are outraged is that this hit clearly was a targeting penalty executed on the best player in (at least) the SEC, and Bama got a pass on it because we were in Bryant-Denny (where things like this have happened before) by a player that has a history of, shall we say, questionable play.
College football and the SEC talk a good game about player safety, but they don't mean it.

Kind of irrelevant considering his dirty hit injured a player, but there was plenty of time for Daniels to score two or even three touchdowns on a defense he wasn’t having many issues getting yards on by that point. I don’t think our defense would have stopped their offense so it’s pretty much a toss up for me, though I lean towards us not coming back.
I am not bothered by the loss cause shite happens and I have seen a lot of LSU success in my day, it’s the despicable nature of fans on both sides following the game that was pretty shitty. You don’t wish or threaten harm on people over losing a football game, and you don’t celebrate the dirty actions of who we now know is a serial scumbag and laugh at the fact that his recklessness injured an opposing player.
