Yes. It’s established fact that tossing Turner would’ve resulted in twelve TDs. They was robbed.

This is stupid.

That is a good question. There are some old school fans who remember how football was played in the 70's. A DL takes a shot at your QB, the next play your OL posts him up and another guy comes at him and chops his azz. the sort of thing that Tubby and Auburn did to Dorsey back in 2007 without provocation by LSU.

So my take is for LSU fans to move on, no billboards, or protest SEC office or threatening Bama fans who come to the game next year. I just leave you all the hell alone when you come in town for the record, same for Ole Miss people and don't wish ill on any of you even though I don't like either fan base. Just my view for my fellow LSU fans is stop all that crap.

On the other hand, if I am Kelly I call the league office and just state facts. next year we expect the game to be officiated exactly the same. A horse collar on Bama's QB needs to be overlooked and one on ours should be called. A hit on the Bama QB like the one on JD should get a 15 yarder, but no targeting.

If officials, again not fans of the gumps and certainly not your band, players or coaches, call that game in BR next year, then expect given 100k fans with even 1/2 of 1% being drunk, some whiskey bottles are likely to thrown at officials when they leave the game as we can't police that 100%. just state it as a fact that is likely to happen.

So Bama won time to move on for LSU to Florida.

What does this have to do with Turner getting a pass for the most egregious targeting I have seen this year?

This is the most ridiculous statement I've heard in a while. LSU salty tears are delish.

No, but it would have still been a game.

How? Daniels would have been in mostly a passing situation at that point...Nuss did a pretty good job just playing pitch and catch like Daniels. who would have been doing just the same at that point of the game.

On that note, do you see BK drastically improving your defense next season?

Kelly doesn’t coach the defense, but hopefully he fires House and hires a good replacement

maybe he should call and say LSU doesn’t want to play Alabama anymore. Those cheating bastards. In fact, Bama should be booted from the conference!

You obviously don't watch football much then.

Calling balls and strikes, the hit was clean to me, just a solid hit, he even reach his arms out to sack him. Many a year that would have NEVER gotten a flag...we should have still gotten penalized for "hands to the face" on 41 though.

You realize that a player can’t make contact with his helmet to the head or neck area of an opposing player right? There is a term called targeting. I love helping you trashy fricks whenever I can.

Seriously? You think of Milroe would have gotten hurt down 14, you would have a better chance with a backup QB?

So you're advocating that plays from the 70s were right but a play that would have been completely legal in the 70s, 80s, 90s, and early 2000s should be illegal? The stupidity on this site reaches new levels every Bama/lsu game.

Exactly!

No one knows but we do know our chances were a hell of a better before the blatant targeting no call.

Not what I said...you said with certainty it "would have been a game" and I was pointing out that with the circumstances it would have required a lot more passing to match scores/pick up an extra score being two TD's down. Nuss was doing pretty good just dropping back and passing. My contention is that the drop off, given Nuss is a good passer, is that it probably wouldn't have made that much of a difference with how the game was unfolding. Bama's D was dialed in on Daniels by that point as it was on the run side of the ledger.

No, it wouldn't because LSU beat themselves.

We're just expecting fair and consistent calls from the refs.

Prob not. Our defense couldn’t stop a running back playing quarterback.

Don't worry... ours was having a problem stopping a wide receiver playing quarterback.
