Let's be honest here - bama gets cred they don't deserve

They are still looked at as a top 5 team each year, but they have not performed up to that expectation.
Here is the question, why the hell are they ranked and Auburn is not?
Let's look at like opponents:
vs Georgia
bama loses at home
Auburn wins at Georgia
vs UT
bama loses at UT
Auburn loses at UT
Auburn had a chance at the end to come back and beat UT but missed a 4th down. Bama just got that arse beat. Why the hell are they ranked and Auburn is not? Because they have a better loss to Georgia vs our other loss to Florida? Maybe, but as we know, we beat #1 Georgia at Georgia.

You have zero concept of context. You do realize THE ONLY reason you won against UGA was due to the physicality and emotional/mental exhaustion they had from the previous week's game against Alabama. Both of those teams were beat to death after last week's game and both were ripe for the taking. Scheduling matters, and when you play who matters in the SEC.

No, it's call reality. You know good and well if UGA hadn't of played last week's game and if it wouldn't been a slobber knocker like it was, UGA would have boat raced y'all back to your trailer parks. They looked as dead as a graveyard playing Saturday. I wonder why? Was it because they were scared of Auburn? Is that what it was, y'all just scared them to death?

Looked dead? They came out of the gate 14-0 on us. We played without our best defender. On the road. Give me a break.

I'm not making any excuses for Alabama. It wouldn't surprise me if we lost three more games this season.
But Kirby admitted his team was exhausted from the previous weeks game and whether you believe it or not, both teams were laying the wood to each other. Bama was popping them and they were popping us. No one was pillow fighting out there.

Because we beat Kentucky (their only loss, and they have wins over ranked opponents themselves) and Mississippi State when they had their Heisman-hopeful QB. That kept the team up.
I agree, 100%, there is no reason Auburn shouldn't be ranked after beating Georgia. I think Auburn is still being "punished" for losing to Florida back when everyone thought Florida was garbage. If I had to guess.

I have to admit tRant is more fun when Alabama and Auburn fans are at each other’s throats. To this day, I still remember when one of my shipmates planned his leave around the first time Alabama played Auburn at Jordan-Hare. The hordes of Hell weren’t going to keep him from being there!

In the last 3 years, UGA has played 9 conference teams coming off of a bye week. The SEC average is 4.5 over that span.
And it absolutely matters, as anyone with eyes could see that Auburn was tougher, more physical, and that UGA couldn't tackle worth a crap. Odd how that hasn't happened until this week.
Credit due as Auburn called their shot & backed it up.
