Since the NCAA can't really say anything anymore about rule enforcement, who is to say that these players have to stop playing after their eligibility? If you are a Jason White, Tim Tebow, Eric Crouch type player that doesn't have a real future in the NFL why can't you just keep making money in the NCAA? I know it sounds asinine but in reality if you're an employee why do any of their rules matter anymore?

I've often wondered this. As "student" athletes , I think eligibility will be enforced. If they switch to employees then yeah they'll hang around til they get the call or can't physically do it. Also what about guys who don't cut it in nfl, or Canadian football(probably makes less than major university athletes) can they drop back down to minors

There is nothing that says if you go undefeated you will be gifted a spot in the playoffs.
You still get judged.
Too many teams in the pool.
Maybe next time, accept a spot in a decent league.
Or at least, accept a playoff system that would allow you in with mulligans.
If anything, they can blame TCU for getting in the year before but after that arse-kicking by Georgia, they showed they were hardly more deserving than TCU was the year before.

The media wanted an undeserving Texas squad and Bama. Both with losses. A P5 team that is undefeated shouldn’t have to politic for the playoffs.

I know Context can be tough for LSU fans, but try to pay attention. It’s not that FSU received conference championship rings, it’s that the ring lists a record of 13-0 and says unconquered.

The only people who think that bowl game means anything are UGA fans (enjoy, you beat that arse) and Bama fans that feel the need to justify why their team got in over an undefeated team

Say what you will, but complaining you belong in the playoff and then getting your shite kicked in historically speaking is not a good look.
Remember when we were crying about missing in 2018 and then losing to Texas in the bowl game. We deserved the criticism and so do they. Except they deserve it even more.

FSU went 13-0. And then they lost the Orange Bowl by a larger margin than any team in any bowl game in the history of college football.
